Don't really care mate and don't think it makes any difference to the victims of their bigotry....

    Have a look for yourself:-
    https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jun/10/england-fans-violence-marseille-police-european-championship

The dog whistle Brexiteer message seems to be hitting home to Farage's Brown Shirts, (or should I say white shirts):-

'Between clashes with the police, fans sang: “!!!! off Europe, we’re all voting out.” They also sang anti-IRA and anti-German songs before singing: “Sit down if you hate the French.”

Great isn't it....this is how we show the hand of friendship to our neighbour after what they have experienced recently!

New Orb poll out this evening

    Leave 55 previously 51
    Remain 45 previously 49

Makes me very glad I put some more cash on Leave yesterday!
Yeah, looks more and more like a leave vote.
Oh well, we can't say the plebs haven't been warned of the consequences of leaving.
It will be interesting to watch the hard right of the Conservative party trying to implement their fantasy economics spending commitments, while the country is nosediving into recession. :)

Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

So would it be fair to say your stance is that the population growth of the1990s was good, 1980s was good, 1970s was good, 1960s was good.....1810s was good, 1800s was good etc etc.

The only bad population growth is that what we are experiencing right here right now?

and yes a higher population is a good for most nations and systems but especially so for capitalist developed nations of which we are one. you know this to be true you just cant admit it. Were the UK undergoing population growth of 1 million a year 'naturally' i doubt you would pipe up one little bit

no that would NOT be my stance as its embarrassing silly.

I missed the bit about why populuation growth and lots of immigration hasn't helped Greece, Spain, Italy, South Africa etc.

and why living in a little shoe box rather than a decent sized property is in the best interest of people.

Although you won't admit, I know you realise that GDP is a deeply flawed measure of a people's income and doesn't relate to people's real daily experiences.

Noboby can really believe that continuous population growth is a good thing or is sustainable or desirable: if you truely believe that continuous growth for ALL countires is the only hope for personkind , then exponenetial world population growth is about the only topic worth discussing.

Not the best point at which to start a debate.
Quite frankly if you don't care. Why should anyone else?

    As for football fans singing?
It is very rare that the hand of friendship is offered for long in soccer.
Try listening to celtic and rangers fans
Or the English v Scotland games.
The right of people to chant at their rivals may not always be palatable.. But really should not be seen as offering some wonderful or meaningful insight into the psychi of certain sections within the population

I fear we end up with leave, Tories that remain fail to deliver economic benefits creating a void for Looney labour who get enough seats to get a hung parliament and we end up with years of stagnation and no progress

    I'm voting stay
Left is never right but I always am.

Fwiw I think polls pointing towards one outcome are more likely to motivate people disagreeing with that outcome to come out and vote
Left is never right but I always am.

It looks like the bulldog breed are going to drag us out of Europe, polls put brexit ahead by 10%.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

Betfair currently has it about 70%/30% in favour of remain, I think that is more reliable than a poll, but I do think that it will be a lot closer than that. I've already voted by post to remain.

I meant 'I don't care' in the sense that it makes no difference and you cared enough to try and defend the indefensible. I know about football. I go to matches regularly.....we don't call it soccer by the way....that's an Americanism. As for meaningful insights.....should we assume they didn't really mean what they were chanting, and the nationalist xenophobic nature of it.....perhaps really they were extending the hand of friendship in code!:rotfl:

They knew exactly what they were doing!
