If we vote for Brexit what happens
Comments

It was actually even worse than that. "The serried rows of white headstones in lovingly-tended Commonwealth war cemeteries stand as silent testament to the price that this country has paid to help restore peace and order in Europe." Got it? If you vote for Brexit, you hate poppies and you hate our troops.
"Can we be so sure that peace and stability on our continent are assured beyond any shadow of doubt? Is that a risk worth taking? I would never be so rash as to make that assumption." This is known as the Glenn Beck Device. "Is it true that voting for Brexit will directly cause World War III and a second Holocaust? I'm not saying it will, I'm just asking questions." Honestly, it's pitiful.0 -

This is the same guy who said he would argue for Brexit if he didn't get a good deal for Britain during the 'renegotiation'....!!!!!! - he was willing to risk war in Europe over reducing some in work benefits to migrants for up to 4 years?!I think....0 -
For some reason the Chilcott Iraq inquiry will be published in the first week of July, probably about the moment when the decision to build a third runway at Heathrow will be confirmed....:rotfl:I think....0

Whatever happened to Jo Moore.....Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -

On Heathrow, if we vote ourselves into splendid isolation, the decision could well be to keep two runways...or can we do with just one.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

No, as we break the skirt strings to the white christian fatherland, we will need more runways to happily live and cooperate with the other 160 countries of the world (sorry but they are not all white and christian but you will have to learn to deal with that).0 -
Those who feel the effects of EU integration e.g. high house prices, ever increasing hospital and school waiting lists in cities, traffic, ghettos developing in areas of London e.g. Harrow/South London, will vote to leave. These things are down to governments not building the infrastructure to cope with new arrivals, but still allowed uncontrolled immigration.
Either way I don't see the economy crashing we will simply adapt our trading and legal obligations and think most things will stay the same. I feel the vote will be to remain, but will be voting to leave0 -
So many opinions, so many I thinks, too many He/She said.
Not many facts.
The fact is if we vote to stay, things will stay the same except the EU may be better because of unintended consequences.
The fact is if we vote to leave a lot of things will change, not all for the good.
On the subject of "I think" of which much of this huge thread consists of.
I think after the result there will be a substantial movement in the value of the £ against other world currency's (Dollar and Euro to name two) That movement of course has already began but will change as we head towards the result. It's interesting that the £ to € is reflecting what the currency dealers believe will be the final result. That is very interesting to watch.
On the subject of "what am I doing about it"
I am not buying Euros with my Pounds at present (last buy mid Nov 2015 at +/- €1.39 for £1) the weaker £ today buys +/- €1.26
I and many others wait to see the rate after the result. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

presumably, when the pound had parity with the Euro, the market was expecting the UK to leave the UK ?
I'm glad you are not allowing your deeply held, objective beliefs to affect your own financial judgement.0
