Very true. Complacency on the remain side would be catastrophic.
Therefore, glad to see the FT poll of polls much closer.

complacency would be regrettable as in any election : but not catastrophic as a 'leave ' result will enhance democratic accountability in the UK

As a leaver myself I expect Remain to win quite comfortably as the carpet bombing of 'facts' and fear by the establishment is relentless.

Hey-ho, I look forward to the further rise and rise of the right across much of Europe, from France to Holland and hope this common sense seeps into British political narratives.

Won't be funny though if southern Europe goes into reverse and we end up having to bail them out

“There is now a palpable fear of a widespread asset sell-off should the UK vote for Brexit, and the risk of a London demand shock,” said Mike Prew, analyst at Jefferies, the investment bank.

    seems a good thing

with a smaller population growth we will need fewer new office blocks although we still need more housing to make up the huge back log.

If leave win what do you think the population growth/pattern will be over the next generation for the uk?

Bear in mind the rate for the UK has been below the replacement of 2.1 for a long time. That people both foreigners and locals emigrate away. That the rate of migration is is likely to fall rapidly while migration out is less likely to fall and less likely to fall as much.

If leave win we will be able to control our population growth to meet our objectives rather than by accidental circumstances of the countries of the EU.
