Quote:Less regulation of the financial services industry – including deregulation of the mortgage industry.

Nulabor's lack or regulation was a disgrace. The Tories calls for less regulation were also a disgrace.
But what Brown did that the Tories didn't was waste all the resulting revenue + a lot more besides, mainly on buying votes. That was his main failure. He boasted for years of how prudent he was but in reality he was spending revenue from a bubble like a drunken sailor. An absolutely hopeless chancellor, one of the worst ever.0 -

Juncker is a clown who'll soon be out of office & everything he's ever said about Brexit has been designed to make it sound as bad as possible.0 -

Or the £68 billion deficit for 2016/2017 which is just tragic and is supposed to be some sort of :T:T when what it actually means is we can't afford all the public services the government is providing - the NHS will bankrupt us.Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.0 -

We are borrowing to consume though. That's a UK habit. There's no right to a certain standard of living. More so if we don't actually work hard enough and productively enough to earn it. Many in this world envy our standard of living. They want we enjoy. There's a challenge for the future as well.0
