If we vote for Brexit what happens

So you're saying that there will be some economic decline, at least in the short term until these enormous opportunity benefits start to appear?
But I presume you're not counting that when you said:
So how long does the short term pain have to last before you admit you were wrong
To be clear, some minor losses through the next few years will be much outweighed by new enterprise creation during the same period.

Exactly, the trend in credit has nothing to do with Brexit, but may be sufficient to mask any downturn that may have been caused by Brexit. So it's likely not correct to say that there was has been no economic impact of Brexit so far (when we know there have been - there's been reports of job losses and price hikes blamed directly on Brexit or the GBP, which clearly changed because of Brexit).
Of course you have ruled out that fact that the pre brexit economy was 'masked' by the trend in credit:
job losses occur all the time as does the creation of new jobs : during the period we have been in the EU we have lost over 40 million jobs: I of course being a rational, decent, non biased person, do not blame the EU for all those job losses.
there are no significant proven job losses due to brexit nor are there any proven jobs been created due to brexit; however jobs are destroyed and created all the time (thank goodness too); however brexit will indeed lead to different distribution of jobs.
Truely, brexit did lead to the reduction in the value of the pound which will lead to price increases for imported goods and services.
If the value of the pound stays low we will probably share the fate of Germany that suffers/benefits from a large undervalued currency.
And for ther record I have NEVER said that there is/will be NO economic impact of brexit but I don't expect either massive improvements or changes.0 -

Spain wants to start post-Brexit trade talks with Britain as soon as possible – defying the EUSpanish government officials want to start negotiating a trade deal with the UK to take effect after Brexit, going against the official position of key negotiators in Brussels.
In an interview with the Financial Times, Spain's foreign minister Alfonso Dastis said that he believes starting trade talks before the full terms of Brexit are agreed would be beneficial to all involved in Britain's divorce from the EU.
"It would actually be good, while we speak about the separation, to also define where we want to be in terms of a new framework [for EU-UK relations]," Dastis told the FT.
"We are interested in getting a result that is good for both sides. We won’t give up that interest for the sake of strict procedural requirements."
Dastis position goes against the beliefs of many of Brussels' key officials tasked with negotiating Brexit. Michel Barnier, the EU's chief negotiator, has consistently maintained that both sides must agree the full terms of the UK's separation before they can start discussing a future trade deal.

Regardless of which side of the Remain/Leave divide you lean towards, nobody can argue this is one of the more interesting times in recent history.
