Catalans are not happy at Spanish courts suspending their independence vote, planned for 2017.
Romeva said: “The judicial system is being politicised more and more day by day.” He said the perversion of the Spanish constitution should concern all supporters of free speech and constitutional law throughout Europe.

So basically your news roundup is:

Australians complaining about Britain for a change

Catalans denied vote that you also want Scotland to be denied

A country that has suffered some of the worst Islamic terrorism in the west is worried about followers of Islam

So basically your post is ...... as usual, about as useful as a fireguard made of chocolate.

No wonder your nickname is "Toxic".
  • A report today (Sunday) from Reuters showing that British companies are absorbing the Brexit shock:
Manufacturing body EEF says the sector is its most upbeat in a year and a half, helped by an export-boosting fall in the pound since the vote, and investment and hiring plans are up.
In construction, office building has slowed but some companies plan to ramp up home-building next year. A survey by IHS Markit showed growth in the construction sector hit an eight-month high in November.
Economists are now raising their predictions for British economic growth next year, after many of them initially warned June's vote would quickly cause a recession.

    My nickname actually isn't "Toxic".

I think Toxic was an epithet Clapton started using after he had lost so many consecutive arguments that he had nothing to resort to other than childish ad hominem name calling (it was alliterative with "Toast" which just about sums up Clapton's ability to think of alliterative insults).

A support group of other losers then sprang up around him who did the same.

I see you have joined that group too. Well, it was only a matter of time.

ok toastie I will give you the opportunity to undo countless hate filled attacks on sections of the UK people

so you could start by recognising that the following groups mainly comprise decent people with genuine concerns for the wealthfare all the people of the UK, even if you don't agree with their specific policies

-people in or support the tory party
-people in or support the libdems
    -people in 'new' labour
    -people that don't support Corbyn
    -people you call boomers
    -your parents
    -people who voted brexit
    -people who support brexit
-people who don't support the striking unions

there are doubtless many others but that will do for a start

Pretty much sums up Toastie's posting style on these forums, no?

Aye well, rather that any day than subscribe to the rantings of an obviously deluded and often seriously-misinformed anonymous poster.

Most of what you do is trolling, pure and simple - along with a few others within these forums.

How about you do the same with the following:

-people in or supporting the Labour party
-people in or supporting the SNP
    -people in 'Old' Labour
    -people that support Corbyn
-people you call Millennials / Gen X
    -your children
    -people who didn't vote brexit
    -people who don't support brexit
-people who support the legal and negotiated right of Unions to strike to affect change when all other options have been exhausted
-people who are found guilty of being foreign in the UK
-people who are foreign and dare to want to come top the UK

    I won't hold my breath.

I note your refusal to respect other people's views or to acknowledge them as decent people.

I do indeed respect people who support other ideas, other political parties, 'remain' supporters, trade unionists, people of all ages, people of all sexualities, all the peoples of the world (and not just white christian european (although I do respect them too)) and I respect my many friends who were not born in the UK.

In summary I respect the views of and consider as decent people the vast majority of people in all the countries of the world.

There are some that I have difficulty with
-people who support and give comfort to the leaders who sent bombers to Birmingham pubs, Warrington, Brighton and numerous places in NI.
-hypocrites that think we shouldn't have Finnish nurses in our NHS, people who passionately declare their support for state schooling but send their own children to private or selective schools
-also have issues with people that support FGM, primacy of men over women, right to kill your disobediant female children, people who preach the death of gay people etc.
-people who think that Mao killing 40 million people is OK given the socialist utopia that followed

however, even with those above I consider most have some good qualities and that it is better to debate the points, when ever possible.
