    What we get from being in the EU club to have tariff free trade;

    EU law is supreme
Laws cooked up by unelected Commissioners
Not permitted to participate in EU/WTO trade talks
£28m net handed over every day amounting to more than if we paid tariffs
Open borders eventually to 5 more poor countries to suck off the EU teat [our money]
Worst housing shortage since WWII, full schools, main roads that can't cope, fastest ever rate of loss of greenbelt

    Canada's tariff free deal being outside the EU;

    No tariffs
    No free movement
    No EU contributions
    No surrender of sovereignty

So why be in the EU ? I understand Canada may pay a small fee and have a measure of immigration which is fine

    Oh, this again.

Are you suggesting Canada join the EU? It's already part of NAFTA and has "suffered" a loss of sovereignty.

The other pertinent points that you are missing.

1 - It has taken Canada years to come to an agreement with the EU, which has only been reached after unanimous agreement of member states

2 - The member states are unanimous that we won't get anything of the sort without free movement. Why do you continue to ignore this? Do you think they are just bluffing because thats what devious Europeans do?

does the NAFTA agreement mean that
-there is free movement of people between these countries
-that USA sales tax/VAt rates are set by Mexico and Canada
-that mexico decides which foreiggners can be expelled from USA
-they decide the how argicultural subsidies are spend in the USA
-what tariffs the USA can impose on chinese goods

    ............

1 - Oh this again, we are all ready fully aligned with free trade, live and present so it just carries on, no need to worry about 7 years of squabbling (regards trade)

2 - So the EU sells us 10 x more than Canada, and you think they will disrupt that trade with all manner of consequences for them such as stalled investment and higher interest rates?

You gotta be some kind of gullible to think French and Spanish citizens will merrily go along with having their livelihoods wrecked in order to exact some abstract 'punishment' against an ally

3 - No way will Germans, Estonians, Fins and Poles want to harm an ally especially the key local military ally. Our Navy is still extremely potent and experienced and as Trump withdraws it is us safeguarding The Straights of Hormuz through which flow the European oil requirement

There are plenty more reasons all will be well trade wise. We'd be fine with WTO anyway, we'd adapt and find news dynamics to aid our passage.

Honestly you just need to stop for a second and think for yourself, stop swallowing scary stories and nonsense

It goes without saying the EU are currently in opening proposition modality, only a fool would not understand this obvious tactic

The only entity that can grant the UK a free trade deal with the EU, is the EU.

The EU will not do this unless we take on freedom of movement, because it will mean the end of the EU. Which will then leave everyone without a free trade deal because there will be no EU to broker it.

Why is this so hard for you Brexit people to understand?

Oh yes, because Britain is the indispensable country and they will be begging, begging us to come back under any terms. Especially so that we can sail our three destroyers and aircraft carrier without any planes around Gibraltar. Spain already loves that.

    You've got it wrong again.

I do not think we will get the EXACT deal we have now, but it will be good enough and regardless we will prosper far better as a nimble autonomous nation.

Here's your blind-spot; You are behind the times. You have not spotted the trend for people to now demand back their democratic rights.

IN THIS CLIMATE it would be political suicide to harm your own peoples trade and their lives in the process all for the sake once more of the Brussels tactical wet dream. No French leader will elect to harm her own workers with a trade hampering mess.

You simply have no idea what European unity means as a concept to European people, or how averse they are to the idea of Europe balkanising again.

I would suggest you go and talk to some, but as you burned your passport in 1980 I imagine that would be rather hard.

People want their democracy and sovereignty back, and they certainly wont sacrifice their jobs in order to punish Britain.

Next year at some point everything is going to change and you will finally smell the cofee
