    Morning all :)
Thanks for starting the thread Ally :)
Raining again here :( Hope it stops soon! Stopped raining, and turned really windy and cold

    List for today:
Used apple pieces and blueberries that baby GD didn't eat yesterday with my breakfast porridge :)
See to hens Done, 1 egg today :)
Dog walks x 2, weather permitting (rain doesn't bother me, but bothers very small mutt, who refuses to walk in it :rotfl:) Done. Put his jumper on this afternoon due to the cold wind and yesterday's haircut at the groomer's. OH then decided wouldn't come with me after all :rotfl: Micro-mutt won't walk in a proper dog coat, so I got him a hand knitted jumper in a tasteful shade of pale blue from ebay. It is beautifully knitted and cost less than £3 :)
Heating only in bathroom and airing cupboard, but will light the wood burner later :)Done
    Check banks Done
Any online surveys, check FPL etc A few surveys for onepoll today, and one for Yougov :)
Make a loaf in the BM Done, granary bread today :)
Go to sales unit to tidy up, see if anything needed etc Done, a couple of bits had sold, although the town is very quiet at the moment
Take a bag of paper recycling to put in the recycling bin at the supermarket car park Done
Avoid going into supermarket, as I don't need anything today Done
Aim for a NSD :)Done :T
HM meals from stores Done. Leftover soup plus cheese and biscuits for lunch, and sausages with onion gravy and yummy carrot + parsnip mash for dinner :D
Clean up after naughty puppy and baby combo yesterday  Done
Walk all journeys (nothing heavy to carry, and I need the exercise!) Done

OK, that should keep me busy for a while. Will check back later :)
Hope everyone has a good day (thinking particularly of CCL, hope your meetings go ok).

    Morning all,
Not a good start to the day as I woke up with a rotten headache & have had to take some codiene. We also overlay as mr f seems to have done his old trick of switching the alarm click off in his sleep, so we woke up at 7.50 a.m. He needs to leave for work at 8.00 as has a 26 mile commute! Cat chose today NOT to start clawing the bedroom door at 5 a.m. Grrr.
Headache picking up a bit so going to rest for another hour & then make a start.
*Do 2 tasks from 'Annoying Things List 1'. This includes one I planned to do yesterday but friends called round & stayed all afternoon. Gave friend her bday gifts to take with her to save postage. Early but prob won't meet up agsin before bday.
*Dinner as per meal plans - Turkey chilli I batch cooked & froze.
*Use up tortilla wraps. Quesadilla for lunch & wraps for tomorrow's packed lunch.
    *Wash hair & dry naturally.
*Finish 3 library books for return tomorrow.
*Top up worm composter with scraps. It's been so mild, they haven't done their usual winter catatonia & are still scoffing. More scraps=more free compost.
*Start meal plans for next week.
Ok, must stop looking at screens & concentrate on vanquishing headache if I'm to achieve anything today.
Keep your hands on your pence,

Darn Murphey's law legomum! My eyes always water at your list. How can you get so much done in a day??!

Foxgloves hope you feel better soon. I've been having several vision migraines recently which are stress induced, really feel for you x Oh am making headway on the socks :j (helpful to distract me from the stress of my dd being so ill at the moment. Have been drowning recently but I believe she has come to the peak of it and things will now start to get better again, I managed to meet with her yesterday and she is willing to return home and make a referral to the mental health team)

Hope the rain clears up wherever you are x

    So today's efforts:

*checked banking & did a couple of bills
    * need to return library books & pay some money into the bank
    * working 12-6
    * got Christmas dinner soup out of freezer for dgd & me (oh is on a super rigid diet so is looking after himself! :rotfl:)
    * tidy up so tidy for oh when he gets in this evening
    * meal plan & write up shopping list. Should be sub £20 if I plan cleverly ;)
    * any tips received will go into debt overpayment pot ;) - decided to do this last week and any extra cash I get so we can aim for paying oh's mum back by the end of the year. I've worked out if we can make overpayments of £60pm then we should be able to clear in December. So far there is £30 in there :T It's a real struggle at the moment though as I am earning so little and both my ds & dd need some financial support at the moment. Hopefully though my ds will start work on Saturday
    * reading and knitting for entertainment
    * try to get an early night

Think that's my lot. Have a great day x

Oh my great Smurf! We just took down our homemade pinecone Decemberfest decorations. You should have seen the state of the sitting room. Wee bit of pine and berry EVERYWHERE. We ended up having to deep clean the whole room. So another wee list:

    * Lots of Stardrops used.

    * De-cluttered the whole sitting room. Thick pile of paper recycled. Table reclaimed from OH's camera kit. Display unit reorganised. Huge pile of DVDs put away. I like the Mount Vernon Method of tidying myself.

    * Secondhand Dyson given lots of exercise.

    * Found a book of stamps which I will sell.

    And on it goes...

    * Re-organised OH's wardrobe so that there is now a Camera Shelf. This means that our house no longer resembles a smurfing Nikon showroom.

    * Didn't shower til after the grunge work was done.

    * Read meters. I'm a week late doing this as I couldn't be smurfed. We are £5 in credit so far this quarter. I'm happy with that.

    * Hang up and use calendar given to us by a relative.

    * Finish last of the homemade soup.

    * Listen to some free podcasts.

    * Now planning on relaxing with a DVD and getting some sleep. I've been up for 22 hours.

You should look at ASAP Science on YouTube - they have some brilliant science questions and answers on there, and there's a brilliant Periodic Table song.
*not that I'm a chemistry geek or anything* :p
Right, off to hospital after a productive morning - will report in later.
