...interim total goes upto £53.
I forgot I was at a course this afternoon, so I couldn't heat the soup I'd taken for lunch.
Ended up spending £11 in tesco for lunch and some 'extra' bits
Interim total now £64.
Half way through the budget, only on day 7 :eek:That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

Dd done massive farm f90ds shop. Was 152. Split shop used 2 vouchers 5 and 12 so cost only 135.
Shop included store cupboard complete refill including coffee, curry, fish for freezer etc. Should last us a good month to 6 weeks, over the worst of lambing. Love dd shopping for me. Xxx0 -
Have £32 of Tesc0 vouchers for the next 6 weeks so think I'll combine T and A1di as they are next door to each other on the other side of town...

MUST take lunches to work. £3 for a sandwich is crazy when I have lots of ingredients at home!!GC Feb 2019 (to 10th) £397.07/£3000 -
Topped up today, got some fruit and bread from the co-op. I have this habit of going in there whenever I have to go to town for the post office, must try to break this habit as I probably could have waited till Wednesday to shop. Spent £11.09. OH was there so got a treat cake, it was yummy and totally worth it.
I don't think we will last till Friday now though for milk esp and fruit, its going to run out, the kids eat tons of it and I wasn't paying co-op prices for apples grrrr - they did have cuppa porridge for half price though £1.34 a pack, I usually only buy this when asda do it for £1 a pack and stock up on loads but we are out and its good for mornings when the milk is running low since you just add hot water.
Think I will do this weeks shop Thursday otherwise I'd have to do another top up, easier to just get the big shop done and its a short month for us because good Friday would be pay day so its the thurs before instead.0 -
Evening all
Spends of £16.67, basically milk, fruit, veg and pack-up stuff.
Have an order coming the morrow from Mr T to use a £9 MOC, so mostly stuff out of another budget. I'll update with the stock-up items when it's delivered.

Hi everyone,
Budgets updated to here
Welcome to mrsgeeHope you enjoy your first GC with us and remember that it takes time to get to a reasonable spend level, especially if you have a DH like mine who is a food snob!!
Talking of DH - thank you Dizzy Imp for your kind words about his redundancy. He had a phone interview with another company on Friday and they want to see him in person tomorrow, so fingers crossed. What makes it all the worse is that his immediate boss (who told him 3 weeks ago that he would be okay) is ignoring him and sits opposite him 5ft away, what a (insert rude word here)
Mac n cheese for us tonight, with added pancetta (a hybrid version of Nigella's recipe from the Express book). Family love it
