Hi,
Funny old month money wise here. Petrol/ diesel fill up for month about £100. Groceries so far about £30. DD birthday, Mother's Day and wedding anniversary all this month so this has been HUGE!
Hmmmm.
Anyway full of lovely roast beef and Yorkshire pud now so going to snooze by the fire and dream for a while.
Keep safe and warm
XMarch Budget : £600
April Budget: £ 5500 -
£20.50 in Lidl this morning for groceries plus £1.78 in Asda. Not updated since the start of the month. I have £58 left until 25th March.
Dinners this week - omelette, lasagne, chicken curry, Baked potatoes.
HM snacks - Mars bar cake made today should last until Tuesday (I hope), then fairy cakes and then choc chip cookies at the end of the week. These HM snacks are really helping me stay away from my local corner shop for a chocolate treat so a big saving.
Lunches - leftovers, baked potato, sandwiches, beans on toast.
Have a good week everyone.0 -
Day six of March GC and so far so good no food shopping bought as yet and purse still 'frozen' shut

So, based on grocery type spending I had a NSD on Friday, spent £2.70 on lactose free milk on Saurday for DS and another NSD yesterday. In reality I spent £3 yesterday to watch DD competing but took my own food and drink so i wasn't tempted to buy anything else.0

Oh dear - had a very spendy day. Not intentionally, it just happened
I had my first ever visit to an Aldi store...one has just opened up 10 minutes drive from here, so zipped along to have a look and spent £39.58. It remains to be seen if the family notice the different brands or not.
Needed to go to Morrisons and Tesco too and was relieved of £39.19 and £13.00 respectively. On the way home, I called in to the Farm Shop to get corn for the chickens, plus Verm-X and oyster shell...£17.01.
I also have to confess to a pizza out with the kids on Saturday. Wasn't great and service was appalling, so I'm contemplating a complaint. £36.96 on this.
I'm now living in fear of the running total....
£145.74 spent in a matter of hours, so £257.79/£350 already. I've blown it again haven't I? £92.21 left for the rest of the entire month and it's Easter. Nah, can't see any problem :eek:0
