    morning!

(((hugs))) to smoky and DH, Frogga, and anyone else I've neglected to mention xxx

Good luck with the op to JuliaP

Welcome back MATH:j :j :j am looking forward to reading your entertaining posts again!:T

Catowen - hope you manage to get some decent sleep tonight!

Plans for today have got a slimming world carrot cake in the oven as its party night tonight for Woman Of The Year, got some soup bubbling away made of leftovers from the fridge, need to do some gardening plus lots more I'm sure.

Had my sister on the phone in tears this morning as my Mum was in a peculiar mood, moaning about anything and everything but was fine last night:confused: my poor sister is piggy in the middle between her partner and Mum since they moved in together in June.Hopefully I gave her some good advice and that things settle down as its awful to live in an atmosphere. At least my sister had some good news yesterday, she has finally got a job :T so at least that will get her out from under Mums feet!

Off for a browse, catch you later xxxx

Right it did. Now due to an extreme lack of energy after all that futile posting what I wanted to write is that I have trouble with a double identity on here. ALL MY FAULT.

I have been loving being a part of you all and have been happily posting as Scubaleopard but now I have to post as Chalky 75 . I am the same person and am very sorry to cause any confusion. I am sad cos I liked scubaleopard much more tha Chalky 75-- still cant be helped. I will pop back and post properly when I have actually done some of the things I should be doing
Try and do a good deed every day.
  • Anniestar - A broken toe is supposed to be the most painful. Most heal in a few weeks, but apparently a rare few can take a year to heal and it looks like that's mine. I'm off to the osteomyologist tomorrow - he'll take a look at it for me and give me his opinion about it.

Well just about to watch the final of House. :( I really love that show. We had fish cakes for tea which were yummy. I got a can of salmon which said from Australia. Oddest looking salmon I've seen. :D But we're all still alive.

Kyle Wow - you can really tell from your avatar how much weight you've lost. :T :D

Chalky Why did you have to change?
dlb  Lucky he didn't get seriously hurt. Ouch.

My mind has gone blank. Probably from all the hard work I've been doing today. :D Hope you enjoy the rest of the day. Oh I forgot to tell you, we had a red moon & eclipse over here last night. Awesome. :p You should have seen it. :p Amazing. :p:D Byeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

  • Hello Everyone - just got back from my cruise and have scanned through todays posts and will read through properly later. (((hugs))) to all that need them. I had a great time on the cruise - first time I have had a holiday for 7 years so it was a real novelty. I went with my friend as exOH has taken kids away for a holiday. I have never been on a cruise before and couldn't get over how big the ship was (it was second biggest ship in the world apparantly) and how much food there was!! It was a bit offputting really. I can eat for England but the sheer amount and scale was a bit overfacing and I didn't like to see all the people who were taking vast amounts of stuff just because it was there and then just leaving half of it to be chucked. It was really nice to go to dinner at night and have adult company and not have to cut anyone's meat though! I need to get back to serious moneysaving now though.... hope you are all having a good day!

  • Morning all

Not long got up as DS decided he wanted to get up in the middle of the night and play so didnt get him back off to sleep till about 4 this morning..God I am so tired

DH has had another day off today so I am taking him to picks some more Blackberries so I can get the freezer stocked up for winter so we always have something for a hot pudding in the cold months :)

WM is on, I am in the process of loading the DW then just got to have a quick tidy round then we are going...well if DH ever gets off the bloody phone...and he tells me I talk to much!

When I get back I might start to get rid of the huge ironing pile that is growing I am sure there is some clothes at the bottom of the basket that I havent seen for months..

I have to go into work tonight but only for 2 hrs just to sort some paper work out then I am coming home and going to get xmas 2007 shopping list and card list etc all sorted as it is my DS 2nd xmas this year and I want to make it really special for him so my house is going to look like santas grotto.. so I want to get it all sorted out early so I am not rushing around nearer to the time:)

I dropped a few of my dinner plates when I was unloading the dishwasher yesterday so I ordered some from Great universal and used a £10 off code and free delivery code so got a complete dinner set for the grand total of £3.00..So I am well chuffed..Anyone want the code pm me and I will give it to you..
Right I am going to end now as I wont get anything done sat at the pc typing away.

    Hope everyone is Ok

    Good luck with the operation.

    frogga

Hope you can get a proper legal opinion as what the employer says does not sound right to me.

DH says he will take me to Lidl later to stock up on some groceries.

No idea what to make for tea - maybe Lidl will give me some inspiration!

Dishwasher is churning and washing is out on the line so spending some time on here in peace and quiet.

Still waiting for the person "interested" in our house to get back to me to arrange a second visit and trying not to be impatient. Still have not heard about the contract date for selling my dad's house.

In limbo at the moment so trying to make the best of it.
