Finished in Cambridge, there were 25 of us in the queue. Got 17 mens gift sets for £55.20 and saved £128.80 :) The most expensive was £7.50 but it had a large aftershave in it.

I'll go back at lunch and see what it looks like

popped down to my local - lots of stock but came out with nothing. None of the few items I was looking for in stock and nothing else I needed - no matter if its 70% I still don't need to fork out on gift sets where I won't use half the stuff, or will only use it to 'use it up'. Best thing was I bumped into a friend I haven't seen for ages so worth it for that.

A happy bedlam in Swansea Quadrant, bigger queue than last year before the 8.30 start, but fairly good-tempered despite the silly layout: there was a mountain of Champney Hampers across the end of a fitting and staff were handing out bags from a pile right next to it and thus creating a bottleneck.

No trolley blocks but several 'family teams' working together although nobody seemed to have targeted any particular items.

Loads of the big S&G sets and Champney hampers, next to nothing for men.

I managed to get the Laura Ashley set I'd decided not to buy when it was OOTW :)

I'd prepped DH before hand and showed him pictures from the website of what we needed to get so he had his list and I had mine. Not sure why he decided to pick up the LA ceramic muffin 'tray' - it weighs a ton and I don't bake muffins, maybe he wants to start ;)

We were coming away just after 9 and it was getting messy with burst boxes and bits of packaging then.

When does it start next year? :rotfl:

Just back from Belfast Boucher Rd, it's madness. Lots of small stocking fillers and loads of the pantone stuff.

I picked up some candles for gifts and stocking fillers that would do my nieces birthday soon and a few small bits.

Used a gift card I'd received for Christmas so my lot cost me £4.20

If you're a Belfast local I wouldn't go out of your way to get down there - not much worth the trip.

Clearly all the guys stuff was in my local then, loads of it - and not much shifting tbh either

Very quiet I was the only customer! Picked up 2 of the S&G bags and so far 12 of the lynx deo and shower gel packs. I had a few extra points coupons to use so now have enough points to get another 6 lynx which should last my 3 men in the house all year.

I looked at 3am online and was really disappointed all the soap and glory stuff out of stock and other stuff I wanted all out of stock. I can't go to the shop today :-(
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Ninth Anniversary 500 Posts Combo Breaker Savvy Shopper!
Managed to be first in queue with my Mum at 8am, down Dewsbury!
Was a mad rush, as only 2 condensed isles full, but got lots that I wanted: 2 x S&G larger sets £18,6 x girls Jack Wills Stockings £6.60, 2 x boys Jack Wills stockings £6.60, Mini Jack Wills Stockings with lipgloss £1.80, a few superdry polish nad lipgloss sets, and other bits as stocking fillers. Managed to spend £92. Luckily I saved some of my Christmas Love 2 Shop, £50 card, so could just add cash with that :)
Really enjoyed it. there was a bit of pushing, but only as people politely let others push past, and visa versa.
It was quite nice, to see my little local store be so busy :) There's probably LOADS of goodies I missed out here listing, but I'm in work now, relaxing from it all ;)
Good luck to everyone and hope you all get your things! Thank you so much to all who posted last night and previous about it :)
