Boots 70% off sale

Yep, we've all been working on the assumption that it's tomorrow for a little while. My local store were condensing the sale stuff into a smaller area this morning, only a few more hours til midnight and we'll know for definite when the website goes offline.

what is meant by Boots are going ahead??Who is following suit??
sorry but i am confused now...Boots have done this for a few years on the exact same falling Wednesday..confused as to who is following who and what has never been done before?? x

I think the person posting the confusing posts doesn't have English as their first language, either that or they're not reading what they're writing

I was in the Nottingham Victoria Centre store today and they were putting out additional sale stock, it is all upstairs for anyone that needs anything. Lots of Soap & Glory, No 7, Sanctuary, Ted Baker - all the bigger sets and smaller ones too.

A lot of branches get sale stock sent to them from other stores, the staff them selves can't wait to get rid of it all as they have sun stuff to go out!
I know this , as last year the store manager carried my bags to my car with me,,, what a nice man ��

Last time I was in my local Boots (Stratford Upon Avon Maybird) they didn't have much left, certainly nothing I want. The one in town is smaller so probably even less stock.

Leamington Spa parade branch had tons of stuff left on Sunday afternoon when I went in. Easily 20+ of the big S&G sets left.

I'm really miffed. I've gone off previous dates of 3rd Wed after New Year, when it should actually be 3rd Wed after CHRISTMAS so I've booked NEXT Wed morning off work in error. Well miffed! Logistics of where I'm working tomorrow mean I'll only be able to get to one crummy little store. And that's only if it opens earlier than usual. 😞 Last year I lived near 4 mahoosive Boots, all within a 15 minutes drive of each other, got all my stocking fillers for random long distance family members in one fell swoop.

Anyway, I've been given the secret nod and wink by a Boots Sales Assistant this evening. Well, more of an excited smile through a clenched mouth, a slight nod followed by a whispered "I'm not allowed to say". Whoo hooo its on!!

Just been to boots and was told by staff member , not to buy anything as there 70% off sale starts tomorrow .

I penciled tomorrow in my diary straight after last years 70% day and will do the same for next year. It's been the third Wednesday after Christmas for a fair few years now and I've never got it wrong so far.
Next Wednesday would be too late; a lot of retailers have got rid of their stock; from experience Boots is usually one of the last.
There seems to be an awful lot of the large offer of the week gift sets left this year.

Africat are both norwich stores worth going too? I have been told tonight that both have hardly anything :-(
