Boots 70% off sale

I agree. Out of the whole of the Boots Christmas gift range there were only 2 items I really liked, which I bought in the 50% sale, and my 14 year old daughter didn't see ANYTHING at all which she wanted either for herself or her friends as gifts.

I find it strange that the same ranges are always left over after Christmas but Boots never seem to reduce the stock levels. I also find it strange that my local tiny Boots in the last 2 years had very little left after Christmas, but was restocked with large gift sets on the day of the 70% sale! It's almost as if Boots would rather sell it at 70% off on one day than 50% off over a couple of weeks...

I am not going to the 70% sale this year but still enjoy reading this thread.

Just an idea but how about picking up a couple of extra cheap gift sets for the local food bank/parcel collection. You can stick them in now or save them for next year...it might just make someones January/Christmas a little better:)

Just getting bags ready for tomorrow and checking my Boots App,,,
And noticed that the Champanys star gift is now valid to next Tuesday I'm sure it was originally valid until today???
I go every year ,, when kids were young got toys and the dreaded birthday party gifts,, now I normally get a big S&G Ted for myself and use during the year , anything unwanted I give to my niece !
Then I stock up on male gift sets for my boys ,,, saves me buying it all nearer xmas when I'm busy at work ,,, I do agree that it's not the sale it used to be , but it still does me well and nothing I buy is wasted!!!
I hope it is tomorrow :rotfl:
