For those of you new to this heres what happens, by law, every single year:
..........
17. 8/9am stores open. As doors unlock staff look a bit disgusted that people have been desperate enough to queue. Stampede into store. Everyone gets seriously pee'd off with the ignoramous with the trolley who is sweeping entire shelves of goodies off in one fell swoop, having blocked off the isle at both .....................
Add: at least one person executes a commando roll under the rising shutter and sprints up the escalator as staff freeze, open mouthed in shock.
I would not have believed it possible - but I saw it happen!I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -

And once you get there the staff have already picked the best stuff for themselfIf you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -

Does anyone know what the worcester branch is like for the sale? I normally go to merry hill which is brilliant but I can't make it there this year0

I was told in store the sale won't be like previous years as there is not so much excess stock at the warehouses this year.
The retail park boots have made all the reductions they plan to and as I said previously the shelves are being stocked with the summer items....
If the store does have a further sale goodness knows where the stuff will go... Maybe they have cottoned on to the mass buying of previous years..
Anything I want is OOS on line ***avid money saver***0 -

In two stores Ive been into this week, I've seen the 70% signs on the back of the 50% signs. Like every year we never really know till the day.0 -

There will be a 70% sale and a 90% sale as every year if they have any stock left. The difference this year seems to be the amount they have left, looking at my local store there are still a couple of hundred S&G star gifts, 50 Sanctuary star gifts and the same Joules Bag, then there is the full aisle of Lynx sets. If what you said is true then they will still have them shelves full till next Christmas.
Plus as has been said the signs are on the back of the 50% cards, so obviously they are planning to have a 70% sale otherwise why bother spending the money on the printing? If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -

Same here, my local store has had more sale stuff come in in the last few days so fingers crossed some of it will still be there after the weekend.
I do think it'll be online too though, I think:
1) Boots want it all to go ASAP once it hits 70% off, the online sale is a massive part of this
2) They like the attention it gets (here), it's good publicity that there's such anticipation of it online every year
3) They must love that they give MSE'rs sleepless nights and they probably roll dice to determine what time it goes live
4) The CEO probably has Katgrit's Boots Sale Law laminated and up in his/her office and is sorely disappointed if there are no reports of people doing commando rolls as the shutters open.0
