Does anyone know if it is this wednesday? Im praying it is as i have took a days annual leave!

I was in my local boots today and they had lots left.

Based on previous years it should be, but don't think we'll know for certain till Tuesday.
I'm hoping it is this wednesday and not next week, don't think i can take another week of uncertainty :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm the opposite. I hope it is next week due to having the day off next Wednesday but am in work this Wednesday at 6:30am

To add to the excitement we're being forecast wintery weather this week imagine if we get a ton of snow :eek:

Not sure if I'll bother going or not, I didn't last year and the one year I did brave the opening time (yes those commando rolls really do happen :rotfl:) I grabbed a S&G set in my excitement, yes it was 75% off but in reality there wasn't a massive amount I wanted in it, vs cheaper shower products I could have got elsewhere. I'm still using my pre-Xmas treat of Snow Fairy from Lush, perhaps I'll just stick with that.

I hope so but unless the add some stock on line and soon the sale won't be as lucrative as previous years.. Let's wait 😄

Thanks for the tip about the checking what's in stock the day before. I'll be doing that come Tuesday on the way to work, and check the one in the town where I work. My local Boots is a really small one and they've cleared most of the gift sets except lots of men's stuff. I've already been in there in the 50% sale to get a couple for my brother's birthday. Luckily I didn't get too mad. My skin is sensitive to the ingredients in many shower gels so that stopped me buying certain sets where I wouldn't get my money's worth. I mostly get the sets for the body butters and lotion but I like to buy a few random ones and make hampers out of them to give friends for birthdays and Christmas (that's great as you can combine things you know people like). I agree with what someone said about not getting sets with useless items - I have so many random bars of soap from presents over the years.

Oh and I definitely agree on the dislike of Baylis and Harding. I've collected tonnes as gifts which I'm going to use because I think it's rude to give away gifts. However I wouldn't consider buying it for myself and I've seen it everywhere lately.

I've always assumed lufoo7 is a Boots staff member or knows one well as she has always given accurate and helpful information about the star gifts.

Mum went in to look in the Bath store today and said loads left and cages full of stock ready to put out already sitting on the shop floor, members of staff were chatting to her and saying it must be this week if you are in looking around...lol....staff said more stock to go out as well.....I hope it's this week, I go and stay with my parents the night before so I don't have to be up really early on the morning and drive to them.....

And don't forgot your bags everyone, remember they will charge 5p for every bag you need this year......xx

My local smallish boots was clearing all the half price stuff today and putting out sun cream they did have a few half price bits that they were putting on a smaller stand
