Fantastic makes everyone.
I made a start on sewing the wadding and backing on the quilt this morning, it will take foreve so I've cheated shamelessly and started doing the long rows that should be hand sewn on the sewing machine. It still took all morning to do 1/3 of the cross rows.
We had to move the furniture round to lay it all out its so big.
I've been knitting this afternoon so have the front and back of DGS pullover done now, im hoping to get them sewn together and the collar in place by the weekend so I can check how long the sleeves need to be when he comes round.SPC~12 ot 124

Wow! Some very busy people on here! Well done all. I'm declaring another item finished - another little picture for my front porch, using fabric and thread from my stash and a pretty yellow frame that came free with a magazine. Cracking on now with another free card kit to use for a birthday - hopefully will finish that tomorrow.3-6 month EF Challenge Member #19: £3590/£6000.[/B] Craft destash from 22.5.22: 46/200. winspiration, ziggy and party_of_five, love your work.
BTW. pof, when I've been busy in my craft room it gets messier rather than tidier!
Two golden wedding cards done - would you believe both are on the same day!2016-02-19 20.42.28 by Bobbie Doctor, on Flickr
BTW, I'm counting things used up, rather than finished items for this challenge.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
GT loving the cards so pretty. I have exactly the same situation next year. Two golden anniversaries on the same day!
Everyone seems to be really busy.
I have got rid of another 6 magazines just keeping the bits I wanted and now I have an empty drawer - yeh
Hoping to get some housework done this morning and then a bit of shopping and if all goes to plan then I hope to get some card making done this afternoon.0 -
Everyone has been so busy!
I finished off another shawl :j It has used 4 balls of yarn and will go beautifully with a coat that I have so I am pleasedJust needs the ends sown in and then it can be added to the blocking pile.
Three things are waiting to be blocked at the moment so I will need to get them done asap so that I can start enjoying them.
Going to take a break from shawls for a while and instead I am going to start making some toys for the children. Still stash busting thoughTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
oh wow, Rummer, I wish I had the patience for shawls, Did one once that was quite enough!Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400

Beautiful cards, Ziggy and Greentiger - and lots more productivity going on too :j
I spent the last couple of evenings organising my pocket scrapbooking cards and am planning to put together an album as a wedding gift for a young (well much younger than me, anyway :rotfl:) relative and his fiancee.'The story so far' type of thing, there are plenty of photos of them on facebook that I can use. I'm also thinking that I might leave some photo pockets at the end blank, so they can add in a few wedding snaps to complete it themselves. It's either that or a cash gift for their wedding, and I hope that an album would be a bit more memorable.0 -
Glad everyone is being productive. I'm loving seeing people's makes.
I made some very simple cards up - so another 5 to add. Takes the total up to 68 / 500.
I will get through my enormous stash. One day - when I am 750. Haha

Hi all,
Loving all those makes and I too wish I had the patience to make shawls. My style of crafting is definitely quick and cheerfulI like to see instant results
I'm declaring four more makes. I decided to put my badge machine to a different use after drooling over pinterest and have now made up 4 owl magnets using the badges as the base and then instead of adding the badge back I have added a self adhesive magnet instead. These actually used up more stash I thought they would as I had to hot glue a button onto the badge back and then add the magnet on top of that as without the button the magnet was not high enough to do its job
Hardly any stash has been used really but at least it's being used to make things
I'll try and post a picture when I get a second
