Good evening ladies
I hope you are all doing well?
Sugar, your social life sounds wonderful, but makes me feel quite tired. I hope you will be happy in your relationship with Wayne.
Twinnie, have a lovely time in Belgium.
I wear this make of shoe, they are so comfortable for sightseeing.

Good news Maman :j
I have been watching the meteor shower tonight, but I need to get to bed before I turn into a pumpkin!
Goodnight

Maman, our time as friends has made Wayne see things from my point of view, not just his own. He actually allowed me to pay half of the cost of a hotel room today and also to pay for his evening meal! He paid for my lunch. So massive progress there. He finally understands that there has to be give and take when it comes to finances.
Carmen and Maman my relationship with Wayne has moved on so we spent time together today realising that our passion for each other translates into a sexual chemistry that is the stuff of the most pleasant dreams.I am a very, very, lucky woman.
He exceeded my expectations in every way and Wayne felt the same about me. We also did a lot of talking and were very tender and loving with each other.
Wayne was so complimentary about my fat body, that I was empowered and felt really beautiful.
Carmen I try to fit as much pleasure as possible into my social life, because up until 5 years ago I did not have much of a social life. Then I became life threatening ill. I pulled through and vowed never to have such a non existent social life again. It took almost dying for me to realise that I need to enjoy each and every day, not to procrastinate and to not allow my shyness to hold me back.0 -

I must say I'm loving showering at the gym, no embarrassment going round Tesco's after
Although today I forgot my hairbrush, only realised after the shower - I did get inventive and used a pen lid to put my parting in :rotfl:so glad no one walked in while I was doing that, glad my hair, finger brushes easy... hair looked fine

That's hardly the most apt thing to sing as you leave our shores for Belgium. Hope the logistics of managing your dad don't prove too much of a military manoeuvre. Have a great time!:)
That's a great post sugarbaby. I hadn't realised you'd suffered ill health, so good on you for grabbing onto life with both hands.
Those shoes look smart as well as comfortable Carmen. I particularly like the cork soled wedges. Maybe next year.;)
Have made a hair appointment for Monday as I've not had it cut since before my holiday. I always try to time it to fit in with a day when I'm going somewhere so dancing in the evening and out for lunch on Tuesday. I might just as well get my moneysworth from the blow dry.:)0 -
Have a fabulous break in Belgium LL, I hope your dad and Eurostar aren't too difficult!! I went to Bruges a few years ago, it was lovely
Glad that your mammogram was all ok maman, it must have been a very worrying time. A bit of pampering is well deserved!
I hadn't realised either sugarbaby that you had been so ill, but you're certainly making the most of life now, good to hear! I hope things continue to go well with Wayne and that he continues to see things from your point of view.
Nice to hear from everyone else too, I haven't been able to post for a while as OH & I went away for a few days and there was no wifi at the holiday camp!! The holiday itself was ok - lovely in places, bad/ frustrating in others - but we had a massive argument last night after his first day back at work, to the point where he stormed off to the pub and said he wants me to leavehe was still in a very bad mood this morning and I'm just feeling very confused. I can't afford to rent privately - my maternity pay has stopped now and I still have £16K to pay off on my DMP, which luckily is being managed for me by CAP - so have been to both my local council and the neighbouring one in the hope of qualifying for something. I haven't lived in my current borough for long enough to qualify for their rules, but I have worked in the neighbouring one to qualify under theirs..... however both said it could take 5 working days for their Housing Options teams to get back to me, so who knows!! And I have no idea what will happen if work won't take me back on reduced hours, whether I'll still qualify then. It's not a very nice day at the moment
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j0 -
Ruby don't forget there will be maintenance due for your babies, and probably tax credit help too. Have a look at the benefit calculator on https://www.Entitledto.co.uk

ruby Couldn't read and run. I know nothing about the benefit system but I do know there's a board on here that might help. I'm assuming that if OH has 'told' you to leave then the house belongs to him and you're unmarried. I'm sureflossis right though and he has a responsibility for the children. He may be thinking differently when he gets home but things haven't been going well for a while so maybe you do want out. All I can do is send you a hug and let you know we're thinking of you. :A0

Ruby it is a shame that there is so much negativity from your OH at the moment and that your holiday was not as successful as it could have been.
If you feel that the best decision for you and the children is to go it alone, then you need to have the best possible legal advice on how to separate from your OH and what your legal rights are. Being a single parent is never easy nor is separating from the man you used to love. Your priority is to protect yourself and your children as best as you can.
Stay strong and focused on what outcome you would like to have after the dust has settled.
Big hugs to you and your children. :grouphug:0 -
ruby I hope you are doing okay. Am here if you need chat.
maman are you going for a trim, or are you planning something different?
sugar I hope your relationship with Wayne is better now that he understands where you are coming from.
I had a pretty hectic day, with a year year old, 4 year old and soon to be 4 year old. We took advantage of sugars kindly donated prize at the soft play. Thank you so much, we Garcia lovely time.
I wore my denim culottes, vest top and heels. I felt pretty good actually. I've just finished washing the henna out of my hair. I wanted to do it before I went on holiday, to cover my grey, but I didn't have enough time, so this is the first opportunity I've had to do it. maman talking about hairdressers has made me realise I need to get mine trimmed. I periodically decide to grow it and I know that OH likes long hair. I never actually manage it and end up cutting it. Firstly, it's curly, so takes ages to get to a decent length and I have to work through the horrible stage where it grows 'out' before growing 'down'. Secondly, I'm small and think that lots of hair will swamp me, particularly as I'm top heavy, broad shoulders and short neck. I think I'll trim it for now and see how kids get on.
maman I made moussaka for dinner tonight. It wasn't very moussaka-like, but it didn't taste horrible. I did use your tip on putting potatoes in the bottom of the dish!!!0
