I had my 1st 30 minute massage today and it left me so relaxed that I kept on falling asleep on my long bus journey home.
The salon would not allow me to book a 2nd massage with my other Groupon voucher, as they only allow 1 voucher per new customer. When I got home, I called Groupon customer service and they happily refunded the cost of the 2nd voucher. I trawled through the London massage deals and then bought 3 X 30 minute cellulite massages that were even better value for money. :j
I wore one of my pull on black skirts, a fuschia pink and white striped short sleeved v neck t-shirt. I wore my black Van Dal leather button detail sling backs. I was carrying my everyday black leather handbag and my patent leather black Playboy tote shopping bag. I wore my black Wallis rain coat. I wore solid silver jewellery and lots of perfume.
My grandson is staying with us for the night as it is his 17th birthday tomorrow. I am taking my daughter, my son and my grandson to Rodizio Rico in the 02. We are all looking forward to eating as much as we like and choosing our 1st drinks as I got a Groupon voucher for each of us.
My grandson used to be 'in care' in Andover, but now he lives in 'transitional housing' in London, so we see more of him now. 0 0

            Well my "selective Tv" continues.....:rotfl:
Tonight I had an evening Physio appt - my first "realignment". As I suspected it was chiropractic - painful but even after just one treatment I can feel things easing.
I came home and sat out in the garden, wrapped in a warm throw and with a fur throw over my knees. It was so still and quiet, the cat on my knee - just relaxing and doing nothing. Pure Zen.
Tonights TV was restricted to "Shed of Year" and just listening to the Proms. A tribute to David Bowie. Fab music. I was/am a huge fan. Not just his music but his overall creative genius. A real Renaissance Man.
I managed to drive DS2s car tonight, first time since the accident I was a bit nervous but managed just fine after the first few moments. Quite a relief because I have been quite nervous, even as a passenger - experiencing flashbacks and feeling quite jittery.
I get there in the end......:D0

Hi Ladies, well it is Saturday and naughty me I am still in bed but I am going to jump into the shower in a mo! Am going to go for a manicure this afternoon and will try on my wedding outfit for my son's wedding later.I have bought a navy jumpsuit from phase eight...dresses just don't suit me! I have ordered a big navy hat from Debenhams and some gold/crystal sandals from Debenhams too which arrived tonight. The jumpsuit has a thin gold belt so I thought the gold sandals would be a nice touch. All I need now is a nice pair of earrings and a handbag, I think I will probably go for a navy clutch bag with a bit of gold on it.
The wedding is 2 weeks today so getting very excited now!!
I MUST do some housework this weekend as well or as much as my back will let me...it does feel a bit better today but I will be careful.
Well that is my exciting Saturday, I hope you all have a very fab day!! xxx0

Your wedding outfit sounds great jacci. I think you're right to try it on in advance then you'll feel far more comfortable on the day.
I use Groupon regularly but so far mostly for beauty treatments like massages, manicures and facials. I've avoided hairdressers because they invariably include a cut and I'm a bit precious about staying with my favourite stylist. If they did blow dries I'd be first in the queue. I need to look at some of the other deals.
I've been meaning to ask LL, how you're getting on with the treatment you had for the wedding. Has it lasted? Plans to go again?
Not much going on here other than a bit of food shopping. 0 0

            Good morning lovely ladies.....
Jacci - I love the sound of your wedding outfit.....tres chic. I love jumpsuits.
Maman - I take it you are referring to the thread treatment and Botox....
Yes I am still very happy with the results. They look natural. I don't look,30 Ha ha but I look "well". The facial "rebalancing" is great.
I'm afraid I do have a slight concern though......I have a nasty feeling that the skin cancer might be back. I have noticed a troublesome "spot" which won't heal. It is situated right next to the site of the original cancer. There has also been some "tingling" around the old scar tissue.
I am treating it with neat TCP several times a day. It seems less itchy this morning but I shall be watching it closely. If it doesn't heal properly in the next few days I will book a GP appt and ask for a referral to a specialist.
It's been 10 years since my original surgery so I am not unduly surprised at its return.
Feeling a bit bruised and battered today and still have a thumping headache so going to take it steady.
 Have a great weekend.0

            Good evening ladies.
Sugar, thankfully the dentists wear masks these days :rotfl:
Your massage sounds like heaven, I've never had a cellulite massage what does that entail?
Jacci, you seem to be doing well keep up the good work. I do like navy it always looks so smart.
Maman, Thank you for the brow tip. Hope you are fully recovered now?
Twinnie, I'm pleased that you already feel the benefit after your first session with the chiropractic, I hope the 'spot' is nothing to get alarmed about? Specialist referral asap!
Sorry to keep this short, there is a cracking storm brewing and I like to pull the plugs just in case the storm blips the electrics  At least the rain saves me the job of watering the garden, I will just do the window boxes.
 Goodnight

            Morning Ladies,
It was my grandson's 17th birthday yesterday so we went for a celebration meal at the Rodizio Rico in the 02. It is Brazilian barbecue and hot and cold buffets and you eat as much as you like for a set price. We all had so much fun and ate lots of great tasting food. The staff are welcoming, efficient, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I gave them a £13.90 tip as we had Groupon vouchers that covered most of the cost and we had received such high quality service throughout our entire time in the restaurant.
The sun was shining so it was a very good day to celebrate my grandson's birthday.
I wore my red sweetheart short sleeved t-shirt with a long black pull on skirt and my black leather Van Dal button detail sling backs. I was carrying my black patent leather Jaeger handbag because it is a large size, so I could fit everything into the 1 bag. I wore lots of perfume and the matching body lotion, but no make up or nail polish.
I feel quite sluggish today after such a big meal in the restaurant. I am going to have a relaxed, lazy day today, then go to Karaoke this evening.
 Have a good Sunday Ladies0

Lovely to hear you had a good time with the family sugarbaby. What a lovely treat for your grandson. I enjoy those Brazilian restaurants. In fact I enjoy a range of different types of food. We've certainly moved a long way from meat and two veg (but I enjoy that too;)). I'm having a lazy day so far. Read the paper slowly then a bit of a pamper with lots of creaming after my shower. Now I'm just letting my hair dry off a bit naturally before styling it. It's a lovely day here and I feel I should get out and do something but am enjoying taking it easy.:D0

Interesting about there being a lack of available men/ women; I have several very lovely female friends who haven't settled down as they simply haven't met the right chap. I have a couple of male ones too but unfortunately none of them like each other in that way! A lot of people I know have met their partners on the internet as they weren't meeting anyone through work or social circles.
It sounds like you're having a great time exploring London sugarbaby! Greenwich is so pretty, I used to go into central London for work and it was always nice discovering hidden corners and parks.
Well, OH and I had a lovely day today till he ended it with a major moan!! He was washing up baby bottles and I offered to do that whilst he played with the babies, as his usual moan is that he never sees them. You'd have thought I said something really offensive - he launched into "I'm so tired, I just need to sleep, I work long hours etc etc" - no idea why! He spent 15 minutes washing up then 45 minutes sulking in the garden before snoring on the sofa and refusing to help with dinner time, bath time, bed time etc. I've still got some housework to finish, but after that may go to bed (in the nursery!) and watch a film rather than listen to him snore...... we have a family day out planned tomorrow and tickets booked, wish we hadn't as I'd prefer not to see him to be honest.
Expecting to Fly is probably my most played album ever, bought it on the strength of a review in Q without having heard anything of theirs before and it was instant love. I have lost count of how many times I've seen them live - getting close to twenty I suspect. They only split up a few years ago, but most people wouldn't have heard their more recent stuff and then they've been doing reunion tours lately. The lead singer has done some solo stuff too. I love going to gigs and festivals although not done masses lately - seem to go to comedy nights more often.
I have met all the guys I have dated in recent years online - I always think it looks a bit rude on a night out with friends to be trying to chat up guys instead of paying attention to your friends and I am bit too shy to do that unless a bit too sozzled to have good judgement about who to chat to anyway! It would be ideal to meet someone in a less pressured environment like my hiking trips, but there are always more women than men on those and the age group is generally a bit older than me and if anything I tend to date younger guys.
Mind you, being single has it's plus points. No one tells me where I can keep my CDs and I don't have anyone picking rows at home.
I am really sorry to hear how your OH is behaving, I hope things improve soon. I can't really offer any good advice not having had to deal with becoming a parent - always knew I wasn't really cut out for that level of responsibility and really admire those who have the courage to take it on.0
