Hello,
With mortgages as long as you don't change any details like the term you can get a new fixed rate deal with your lender. It's not always the best deal but it's good if you don't want to be reassessed but still want a fixed rate. I'm assuming and I might be wrong that you put more deposit in than your partner so I don't think it's as bad as you think in terms of telling him. If you see what I mean - you're both comfortable that you're bringing different things to the table.
As you need the money I would talk to your daughter about a fixed repayment. For you it means one less creditor to get a minimum payment to. And it might open her eyes when you say how many years do you want to pay me back. £50 a month will take nearly 10 years. I'm not judging as I'm also a naughty daughter borrowing from mummy too :-s
Great news on all the balance transfers. I really think you should pay off the next one first. I know it's better mentally to clear Barclays but right now it's not too bad a figure, with that kind of interest it's never going to go away! Get it gone and closedthen hammer Barclays. It'll feel better that one creditor is gone and clear and you'll do it in half the time!
