A bit of a shock to the system.
No money issues to report today but I slept a 100% better and feel more determined than ever decided to start diet once all goodies in house have been consumed.

Need to shed 2 stone really.... Will add this to signature when I start the diet...

My healthy eating and exercise program starts tomorrow. I need to lose about 2 stone aswell.

    Me too

We can all lose weight and debt together :T I have an under active Thyroid and have had to have my meds adjusted for the past few months.. My levels wont stabilise therefore my weight's going up and down.

Although Christmas had nothing to do with it eh :rotfl:

  • Sorry cat girl I did not look at diaries last night except to post on the NST thread.

I see you have done some balance transfers - it all looks good to me. Won't it be great to have an empty card in 4 - 5 months time?

I can join you all on the weight loss as well - I always imagine I am 10st and then I weigh myself and realise I am nearer 11st.
My excuse for not weighing myself since Xmas is that we have a different TV and I don't know how to find the Wii Fit on it:rotfl:
We don't have normal scales in the house as I can get obsessed and weigh myself loads of times a day.

For my height I should weigh about 9st
  • All shedding £s and LBs together... How ironic...hahaha

I should be two stone lighter... I carry it ok but it's now starting to show and nothing fits.
I comfort eat as well...oh dear.

    Good luck to us all.

Just think if we are all really lucky we will be looking back at this next Jan and the one after all skinny and considerably more well off.

I really think we can actually do this as well :-)))

  • Not a bad day at work today.
15.00 spent in ASDA on way home. Bought a card and a bottle of wine as a gift for a colleague who's leaving this week but she's a lovely person and it cost me £7.00 as wine on offer.

Transferred 3490 from Barclaycard to Tesco card following transfer from Tesco to MBNA the other day.
The balance on the BC is now £2050 or thereabouts. Will try to pay that in 5/6 months in the hope that when I've paid that down they will offer me a BT and I can move a big wedge off MBNA in 6 mths when the high interest kicks in...

Well I felt desperate before Xmas. No hope of any room to move any money of CCs till MBNA gave me another £5000 followed by two balance transfer offers I never thought I would get.

This plus the support of you wonderful people on here has made me feel so much better and I am now even more determined to smash this debt ASAP...
    :-))))

    Well done CG :D

Doesn't it feel good to be in control?
Thats why I try not to think of the bigger picture but smaller targets and small steps.

I have even managed to pay for my car MOT with cash that I've saved (no credit cards) Now this is a huge step for us and like you said its all down the the advice and support I have received on this wonderful site.

Keep going CG you are doing so well and the determination gets stronger as you go along and see your debt decreasing. Even if its by a small amount it all helps.

    Good luck

  • Well fist lie in after five days of 6.00 am get ups...
In terms of money saving and debt busting I haven't been able to do much but have had plenty of emails about surveys so will look later on and give them a go.

Bought plenty of salad and fruit in for next weeks diet plan.

Think I will feel better at the end of the month when I can see how much I've paid off this month....

Hope everyone else is being lucky on their mission....

  • Just started reading your diary Cat Girl and it sounds like you're making somegood progressand decisions already.

I've subscribed and I hope that I'll be able to offer some advice along the way, or perhaps just simply keep you going on the down days! As you mentioned on my diary we have a similar amount of debt, so a bit of mutual support will be invaluable!

    Good Luck!
