You might be able to add series to the favourites so you don't have to keep searching for the same series or in 1 app there's a recent search option.0

My box came today and I have set it up. My mrs is happily watching scorpion season 2 now. Its buffered a couple of times but nothing serious.
At the moment we have it running by wifi (about 5 inches from homehub!) - is it worth buying a cable for a wired connection?
Overall the box seems goid, just need some patience trying to find things!
My friends told me he has found pheonix and genesis to be the best apps.
its not your connection causes the buffering its the server you are getting it from,
Genesis is dead0 -
Connection m,ay cause buffering but yes in the main its the source .
There are a number of settings on Kodi system and on video playback that may help quality .
One point to note is that the source picture may be tablet size and once stretched to fit a tv screen its no longer as good as it was .Worth experimenting with playback video settings on the actual video using the video real icon on the settings bar at the bottom of the screen .0 -
If you're having playback issues, look into real debrid.0

the one reason for buffering is , you have bought a cheap chinease made box ,
hence the reason for not making any yes/no comments about the item , according to the "cryptic" advert , "the box" is the best thing since sliced bread , and does not buffer .
have you tried running kodi or TVMC from your PC and checked for buffering on the same app? , if it buffers then , change app , if not remove box and place in dustbinSave a Rachael

is it worth buying a cable for a wired connection?
That entirely depends on how good your WiFi signal is. Wire is always better. But if your WiFi signal is already really good, it might't be worth it. If it's buffering because of your internet speed, or because of the speed of the supplier of the stream, it won't help at all.
(oh, or maybe the box itself isn't fast enough, as above)0
