    :( From me, too.

I nearly went base over apex this morning on my way up the road. Have brought by Y@xTr@x forward in case we get snow/ more ice. Take care out there, lovely peeps.

I kondoed my cafetiere today, put it out for the CS. It is a nice one, but a mega pain to wash up, so I rarely use it - I have a filter cone which is much easier to deal with. Why was I keeping it? More to the point why did I even buy it? It isn't a cheap one :o

However, DD came along and hauled it out of the CS bag as she wants it for her office at work. She also relieved me of a pile of Home Farmer magazines that I had put aside, and a nice green glass glass bowl which she had borrowed over Christmas, and was reluctantly returning today. I sensed she wanted to keep it, so offered it to her, and she jumped at it :D I have plenty of bowls, and although china and glass items generally bring me great joy (or rather, practical things like tableware and kitchen things do, though not figurines and ornaments which I dislike) , I do have rather a lot of it :o

I know you are strictly speaking not supposed to pass things on to relatives, but she really wanted these items, so I was pleased to let her have them :)

Everybody must be busy kondoing.........I am not usually the first one on here in the morning ! Yesterday probably didnt go as productively as planned - had hoped to be a a bit further on but 12 items to CS and I have 2 large shopping bags of close to/OOD groceries to be collected by my local fr**gle buddy. Have to fit in a shopping trip and of course I will be doing my usual Archers omnibus tidy up :)

  • Re towels, I couldn't make rolling work for me either. I fold them a la Anthea Turner (videos on YT if you want to see how she does it) and stack them bath sheets on one side, hand towels on the right.

Great suggestions about wardrobe selection above, I particularly like GQ's suggestion of 'roles' and Siebrie's idea of matching everything up as outfits. I can see I need to set aside an afternoon for this.

    Morning all,

Thank you to everyone sharing their successes - it helps to keep us spurred on.

Great Kondo day yesterday. OH helped me clear out three kitchen cupboards and took away loads of vases, mugs and glasses to drop off at the CS. Also kept out some bottles of cleaning stuff which can be used up over the next few weeks. Only use white vinegar, loo cleaner and a bottle of multipurpose detergent now so all the others can go.

Want to have a change around of cupboards to make them work better for me so several things don't yet have a home and are littering up the worktop. May not get any more cupboards done today though as day to day things have to be dealt with so will have to put up with the mess for a while.

  • Morning all!! Have caught up on the threads since the last time I logged on/posted. Hope that all are OK and well. Snowed here last night but is slowly melting away... oh well, will have to go to work tomorrow then...

So yesterday was productive, OH & myself completed kondo'd a toiletries drawer and thrown out lots of out of date stuff and moved things around to the extent that that drawer will not be used again! yay!! :j

Two bags went off to CS too...bag for ragging to take to the supermarket clothes bank the next time we go there.

All in all a good day yesterday.....

Everyone have a good day today....am back to cleaning the kitchen and then the dreaded revision!
