Morning - well done everyone on your ongoing efforts.
Recycling bin due to be emptied today and it is full to the top. Felt a pang of nostalgia as I parted with the 12 year old good luck cards.
Emptied a nice coffee jar so that`s in the dishwasher. Have a collection of them and they will be bought into use in the kitchen cupboard.
Still work in progress in other areas but going on holiday tomorrow so will have to wait until we`re back.
Hope everyone has a productive day.0 -
Evening all.
MinsGame Day 8 ; 7 marrows to a pal, one paperback to donation bag.Weird one, hey? But when you find a [STRIKE]fool [/STRIKE] err keen preservatist, willing to relieve you of a marrow glut, you have to hurtle up there and harvest the lot then bike them around. Before they think better of the idea..........
Looking forward to my holibobs next week. Some of the time will be at the parental homestead. Using it a base, not really there kondo-ing, but ya never knows what Stuff just might exit under my supervision.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Revisited clothes yesterday and took out everything that is to big on me now. Going to try to manage with what is left as I am hoping to drop one more dress size. All clothes winter and summer apart from some t shirts, pj's and underwear fit nicely in the wardrobe.
Found two smellies gift sets the I had forgotten about. The contents of one are now in use, the other one is in the CS bag as I word not use that particular fragrance.
Today I have Kondoed my make up. I don't wear it very often and have had some of it for years so have got rid of the really old stuff and just kept the basics.
I think that I will be working late tomorrow so don't think I will do any Kondoing tomorrow.
Keep up the good work everyone.0 -
Been emulsioning all day today but it's all done now so carpet fitting has been moved forward to next week. Woooo!!! That means I'll be busy again all next week but by the following weekend we should have the bedroom just how we want it. Plus lots of stuff won't go back in so it will go to the CS.
Mins game day 8

I was worried she'd change her mind, hence me acting on it asap.
It is very easy, as a gardener, to have more courgettes than you have friends/ acquaintances/ neighbours/ colleagues. I have found myself biking around town with a basket of them like some demented horticultural version of Mrs Claus, bearing cucurbits.
For non-gardeners, I should explain that a packet of courgette seed typically has 8 seeds. Mostly all germinate. A mere 2-3 plants can sprout courgettes like a demented alien. They double in size overnight, I never get over the shock of how fast these things grow.
One evening, you say to yourself, Hmm, that courgette is a bit small, I'll leave it another day or so. Less than 24 hours late, the same vegetable has turned into a marrow. Scary stuff.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

That has all the makings of a parable about the dangerous little habits :rotfl:
I wonder if MK has nightmares about ズッキーニ (Zukkīni) ?
The word, written in Japanese, even looks like the figure of a generous gardener ズ hurling courgettes at fleeing passers-by, as they rush towards a narrow bridge. ッSave

A busy work day for me so nothing much kondoed except for the receipts and general clutter in my handbag - it was getting embarrassing looking for anything in there. (But I had to do something, however small, otherwise I feel vaguely uncomfortable that nothing has been kondoed!)
Browsed the high-end c/shop in my break, this is the one that was complaining of having too much stuff last week. Today they have signs in the window saying items are urgently needed. Sigh...“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
Morning all
Hope everyone is well
