    Hi All
Libellula84 CPL are trying to catch Lola we have a cage out which she is being fed in and I can get quite close to her now so hopefully on for next week to catch her. Then put her back with the kits later the same day after she is spayed.
We think the kits are about 6 weeks now so hopefully will catch them soon.Have a lady waiting to take them all to get them friendly enough to rehome them .
A bit full on with the cats to be honest and I seem to spend half my day (and money) feeding them all :D

I used to have a ginger tom who was fearless. When he was about 6 months old he came in through the cat flap bum first but couldn't get all the way in.
When we opened the door we found out why - he was trying to get a length of buttered(!) french stick sideways through the flap! :rotfl:

The same cat came in one evening with a squirrel's tail...
Never did find out what happened to the rest of the squirrel!

When married to my ex-h we had a gorgeous tortie cat called Tabitha. We lived in a semi-rural area and one evening she attempted to bring a baby rabbit in through the cat-flap, without much success as our other cat (b&w called Sylvester) took it out of her mouth as she came through the flap! Sylvester would follow me the two mile walk to the baby clinic as I pushed DS1 in his big pram, he'd curl up inside the pram while we were inside and would ride back home sat up next to the baby!

:) One of the two parental rescue mogs steals food left outside by the neighbours. Then leaves it on the sitting-room floor. Kills to date include cooked sausages and pizza slices. We haven't felt like taking them back around there.......

Loving the cat-stories! I am allergic to cat hairs, so we settled on a pet rabbit that lives outside. It is a very tame mixed breed dwarf female, mostly white, christened 'Princess Aurora' :).
Do you remember the oil drum that I filled with attic stuff for dh's relatives in his home country? I filled another one! Mostly stuff from the attic, my wardrobe, dds' wardrobe, and some new stuff we bought for our house there, where we want the items to have European quality (dh's words; I would have been happy to buy locally, but deferred to his local knowledge).
AND I have booked a vacation! Major item off my to-dread list.

Siebrie you might want to consider getting another bunny as a Husbun for Aurora. They are happiest in neutered pairs as they are very social animals. Local animal rescues are usually able to help find another bunny and will allow 'introductions' before commiting to taking the second bunny in case they don't get along.

    Morning all
Hope everyone is well. Weather looking promising here. Don't think I'm in work till later so plan to clear ironing and might even have another quick look in the attic and see if there s anything that can go.

:j I finally got around to listing a very random item brought up from the shed last night onto freegle and someone has asked for it and it should go tomorrow. Well pleased.

DH had chainsawed loads of logs and. 9 bags of Sawdust waiting to be collected. One freegler has built a woodland toilet & needs some - I don't think I'm going to enquire further as I'm sure it's in a good cause ;)

:) I love how freegle can get random stuff into the hands of people who can use it. It makes some of us (hi Mum!) able to part with things which would otherwise have to go back into the cupboard or loft for fear of wasting them.

Of course, that exposes them to the risk of death-in-storage or being wasted at some future time when things en masse have to be cleared out in a hurry and there is no time for correct, responsible disposal.
