Sold a tshirt that I picked up in the charity shop a few weeks ago for 99p - sold for £4 so happy with that. Did the same with a sweatshirt, also picked up for 99p and sold for £8. So not really kondoing as I had to buy them to sell them but still two things out of the houseMy debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

One of the builders lives in an area where "they have nothing" and the things I have been kondoing have gone to people who will use them and enjoy them. So far about 11 different people have been able to use things and we would like to get the total higher if possible.
The back garden is being dug down and levelled and I had a rethink about keeping the cobbled inset and whirlygig as I would prefer a proper clothes line and a clear expanse of turf. Probably safer for little ones as well - sometime in the future."This site is addictive!"

That must be a satisfying bit of information, to learn that you have helped others with things you no longer need, and what a good, kind chap that builder is to be the conduit for that help.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

That's wonderful elona.
My builders are pretty good at recycling stuff on site, so there is very little waste (the whole of the 1st floor resulted in less than one skipful of waste - there was some other stuff that went in to help full it!). They're back today to deal with some snagging, and will be sorting out the remaining floorboards/stairs for firewood.
I've just dragged another 8 bags of water parsnip out of the stream. The plan is to create a channel all the way through and keep that clear, and then start to take out the bigger/older stuff. And maybe put some more interesting plants in. There are LOTS of baby brown trout in there0 -
I've just Googled water parsnip as I had no idea what it was - and it's not what I expected! Does it grow really quickly? We had an allotment for a while but couldn't keep on top of the Horsetail as we were also working full time so we had to give it up
My Ebay items end tomorrow so hoping for more Kondoing/moneymaking thenMy debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

I have one little win to record - I'm downsizing my genealogy notes by scanning photocopies of book pages onto the computer
such a ridiculous thing in comparison with most, I know
but I've just freed up another lever arch file, which means I can store current tax records in it, instead of having them flapping about on an open shelf, taking up room, sucking up dust, and potentially getting lost ...

everything is growing quickly at the moment as it's so warm and wet! I'm now soggy and grubby and smell vaguely of water parsnip, mud and water vole...0

Ugh! Get in a nice hot bath (and Kondo some bath foam at the same time!)My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Thanks Lillian and Mrs Money for the info, think we will try sky box without extra channels, possibly would only miss the record rewind bit so we could get one of the boxes :T
We had a dog called Roger ! Again already named when we took him on ! But the look on people's faces when asked his name was priceless
Long day at work looming so best get cracking!Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.0
