Evening kondoites
I am with you all on the not buying any new clothes for the whole of this year.I do not NEED anything even undies I have enough to last me the year I think.
I also have a £100 JL voucher which I can use if I am in dire need of something I suppose. But I would rather save that for a sewing machine:D
If I see anything really really joyful in a chazzer then I may treat myself but it will have to be something out of this world :rotfl:
I am still loving the KM lifestyle and would recommend it to anyone and often doMuch to my cluttered up friends dismay when I bring the subject of Marie

Crazy Clothes challenge £300/£48 and 5 months /0 without spending :T0 -
My genie sack is finally here! No excuses now, time to get sorting. Apparently its 2 sacks and they can hold the equivalent of 4 black bin bags each :O
Edited:
They take a minimum load of 10kg... was worried I wouldn't have enough, but I just divided up what we've already decided to get rid of into 'bin' and 'genie bag' (they only take good quality clothes... some of what I've tired to include is perhaps a bit debatable but at least no pit stains or tears!). Already on 8kg. I know I've got a coat or 2 to get rid of too and never started on shoes and bags so I think I'll make that minimum 10kg no problem!Trying to lose weight (13.5lb to go)0 -
I suspect I could easily go 2016 without buying new clothes either - I seem to have enough for the various situations I expect to be in so no need for more
Got half made peach curtains on both sofas and its annoying me no end, but im not up to doing more sewing tonight. They can go up tomorrowManaged v little kondo-ing. Did get lots out to the recycling bin tho, I do wish the council picked up glass but they don't, so I save it up and walk to the nearby glass recycling bin. I went today, and having informed my flatmate of what things were expected (as tho he had a choice!) to be recycled, I had some mouldy jar lids. Yuck! Washed and in the correct recycling bin now tho. I absolutely hate binning things and am possibly a little obsessive about recycling/reusing/making do, but it also saves money

Morning all
Hood everyone is as well as can be
Have fun filling the genie sack Selement, sounds like you've almost finished filling anyway. I've not heard of those before.
Most of my clothes are from carboots (apart from undies of course) I rarely buy new. I would love to make myself a 50s style dress this year, I have the fabrics just need a pattern. since kondoing clothes I haven't replaced any, but there is a pair of shoes to go, they look lovely but hurt like heck so they are in the next CS bag.
Another busy day here so best crack on.
Have a joyful day all.SPC~12 ot 124

Thank goodness for MK as I had tidied and sorted my Christmas decs and got so tired of looking at them in the hallway decided late last night to put them up the loft. Up the ramsay ladder I go and a drop of water falls on my head oopps a wee leak. Glad I hadn't thrown away any old buckets and basins. We had had very very heavy rain the last few days but it's off now. Others in the NE not so lucky and whole houses and streets and roads flooded and schools shut. Now there is snow and the leak has stopped. Keep warm everyone I am not venturing out today.0

Grunnie - just watching on the News - terrible - heart goes out to all those suffering X
I put away Christmas decs yesterday too, whilst I was poking around in the loft, I found a grey plastic bag, when opened, it contained about 200 'magic sponges' - I bought these on mebay about 3 years ago, and had forgotten all about them......
They are now in kitchen drawer, ready to be put into actionNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

It's still raining here grunnie we are pretty much cut off at the moment so no going out for any of us today. Thankfully no water or wind damage to the house. But since everyone is in today no clearing out for me, they are terrible for not letting stuff go.konMarie and fabbing all the way
