Now I can see various clubs forming, the throwing away underwear on holiday, the odd socks club, the odd shoes club. It is amazing that all the things I thought were me being odd/scatty are much more common than I ever imagined. Maybe I am normal after all.Sell £1500

Earlier this year, I got dressed in my bedroom and didn't bother putting on the light. I should explain I am in a g/floor flat with a walkway by my bedroom window and the curtains are drawn 24/7/365. There is dim light coming through them in daylight
OK, so am at work, standing beside my desk and just about to take my anorak off and realise that my top is on inside-out. Cue a fast exit to the nearest stairwell and a quick change.
Ahem. Since then, I have spent a whole two seconds checking that I have dressed myself properly before leaving home. I have seen other people with inside-out tops, so am not unique in this.:rotfl:Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Haha I've done that - jumper on inside out and I was teaching a Primary 7 at the time and they didn't notice till nearly lunchtime. I told them I did it on purpose to test their powers of observation. LoL;)0

I shall steal that line but the youngest person in my office is 20 so not so easy to bamboozle.
Just stuck something random on Freelge in the last hour and have a taker, plus have popped over to a pal's place a few streets away and left them a care package of homemade bread (they know it'll be there when they get in later).I love giving stuff away much more than I like acquiring it. The crazy thing is, if you give stuff away, people think you're some kind of minor league saint, which is ridiculous; you're just making life a lot easier for yourself by releasing things which you no longer need/want/lurve.

Today I have mostly been getting rid of dust. Kitchen, dining room and utility done. I really should do a bit more before bedtime but I'm tired already...0

You should knock off for the night, put the kettle on/ pour a small libation, and relax.
In fact, if your builders are working tomorrow, it would be more efficient to leave dust-chasing until after they've left for the day and then you can catch some of Monday's dust along with any still lying around from last week.
We should all aim for efficiency at all times, particularly when we need to take efficient rest.:beer:Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.
