    Morning.
I will probably not make a plan for today as it just doesn't seem to be happening the way I expect these days.
I have checked my emails, checked the bank balances and moved £50 into the savings account.
I have wasted 30 minutes reading rubbish on Facebook while making and drinking my tea. I woke at 6.20 well before the alarm I had set, as the road outside my house sounds like a race track already.
Last night I had two extra little girls for tea, and then my neighbour came across for a natter. So none of the good intentions to do housework happened.
Oh Well. There's always another day!
I will be checking up on my Mum of course.
Last night I booked a characature artist for my eldest daughter's wedding next year., and we are pencilled in for my Sons wedding- but he's not so sure yet.
So I need a new savings pot for weddings next.
I will need to think about clothes too! My Son is having a Viking wedding so god help us if I have to have period costumes!
    What a thought!
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Mooloo why not try a 15 minute in each room challenge? I do this and it is amazing how much I can do when I am up against the clock. I also challenge myself to see how much washing up I can do before my stove top kettle boils for a cuppa.

Also you could try a short weekly plan rather than a daily one so all your important things get done within the week.

Women's clothes in Viking times were simple but don't offer to make anyone else's clothes. You don't have time when you are trying to sew to make a living.

No it's a lady from Northampton. I've seen a lot of her drawings and am quite impressed.

  • Hi Mooloo Hope mum is feeling better - I've now got a " never make plans " motto in my head as I find things go pearshaped when I do :D
Grandma has suggested something I do , you can achieve quite a lot in a short concentrated burst .
I'm also about to read the 5.2 your life book , same principle as the food plan but dealing with aspects of day to day life . It probably wont make any difference but as my dear mum used to say god loves a trier !
Look after yourself love , onward and upwards .
    polly x
Meant to say no wedding clothes except maybe yours and dgd .
It's quite an interesting theme as long as they don't go with the lady in the opera stereotype .
It is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

There but for fortune go you and I.

Had a heads down and get on with it day,
Staff rang around and Tried to get people to Collect.
The flags for the rugby club were collected and paid for. So next week should see some money in the bank.
This evening I took the neighbour's to meet my friend and her son, and we all had a good chat and laugh over food.
I got home around 8.45 and enjoyed some panel shows on tv before coming to bed, as I have work tomorrow.
Mum is feeling tired but seems better, and biggest of Mooloo
Went to see her yesterday and changed the beds etc. So mum is managing better today. Xx

A good day again, although the rain kept a lot away from town, as did the fair!
I popped out to purchase some duvet cover and table cloths to use for thermal bags. I had an order two days ago and didn't have the colour scheme so I was extremely lucky to find what I wanted in the charity shop.
I got to use my cover stitch machine on two garments. It will speed up my work and give a better finish.
Now I'm home, I've had the usual cup of tea, and my feet up for an hour. Now I need to muster the energy to set that timer for 15 minutes and start on the housework.

The fair is in town and so I ended up taking DGD down for an hour. So I'm about £20 lighter. We have gained a gold fish, and I think my bones are already regretting having to take DGD on the dodgems!!
Hot bath and heat pads then. But it was better then the alternative twister, waltzer type rides!
Now it's time to cook the dinner. Sausage chips and sweet corn because it's easy.
I'm also going to cook a joint of pork ready for tomorrow as I don't know when my new cooker will arrive.

The new cooker and fridge freezers have arrived! Yeah a double oven. Testing it out now with a Sunday Dinner on.
Also my friend has helped me putting up the roller blind and the plate rack.
So I have what feels like a new kitchen!
And a freezer full of things that I had forgotten I had.
