A well timed break , now whilst you shouldn't be thinking about work whilst you are away at all just one comment to consider when you come back is that "Staff" whilst wellmeaning also probably likes to think you couldn't possibly manage without them .We all like to think we are indispensable but they reality few of us are , things might be different without us but rarely impossible. You've worked hard to Establish and grow the shop. Happy holidays, Merry. Christmas and a happy and healthy new year to you and yours Mooloo.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Morning from a wet Cyprus. We arrived just after a thunderstorm at 5.10pm and of course it is dark here early too.
The hotel is lovely and we dressed for dinner.
Mum was flattered that a gentleman at the buffet said we were the two best dressed women, am I allowed to say that he said to her.
Another lady said I looked beautiful like a Christmas tree!! Not sure how a cerise pink jumpsuit constitutes a Christmas tree, but she means well. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hope you have a lovely relaxing trip.0

Have a lovely time Mooloo. I'm so pleased for you that you're having a break. And well done for managing not to agree to look after your neighbour's daughter :T0

This morning the storms of the last two nights have blown away, and the sun is out.
Mum and I are going to just sit on terrace in the sun while we have it. Yesterday I drove us through to Limassol and drove passed where we used to live etc.
However it was somewhat ruined when I started to feel ill, and succumbed to the vomiting bug.
I spent last evening shivering and being poorly!
I could not face breakfast, have just attempted a cup of tea.
The sun may not be out very long so I'm going to make the most of it and rest beneath its rays. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Morning, Merry Christmas to one and all.x
I am much better thank goodness. We had a gentle day yesterday. I took it gently, and we were lucky enough to have a couple of hours sunshine before the storms came back in the early afternoon. So we sat out on the terrace and soaked up the rays. I had a rest in our room before we had a short drive down to the harbour and sat out with a drink and a toasted sandwich. Mind you I could only manage half of it.
We had another rest before going down to listen to carols in the lobby.
Dinner was a buffet, so I could just pick a little.
We retired to bed quite early.
It is 8.40 here so I am going to breakfast now.
I might manage a little more todayWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
