Well done Muhren. .look at your signature by the way. You must be nearly paid off?
Thanks Bob. I have nearly paid off what I borrowed from my folks but they have been paying the interest and also it cost them to move money about so I still have that to pay back as well. I don't know how much that is but it will be a few thousand I think so still a way to go.
I have an anti-womble to report. I am trying to sell my car but I can't find my VC5 document and have just looked online and it will cost me £25 for a new one.LBM: Dec 2012 - Debt £38,180/ Now £0.

Oh I see. But still, loads of progress. Well done to you.
Pain about the money you had to spend though. But hopefully you can sell the car ok." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Well. We went out for a walk after our easter food frenzy at home. Did some wombling of course. Found 25p and a mcdonalds voucher for either free fries or a milkshake. Cost would have been £1.69. Popped into our local to get out of the rain and son got a strawberry one." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Wombled a load of stuff from my mam's this afternoon
She's hoping to move house so is starting to declutter now. Got 3 brand new jumpers for dh and a board game that has kept him entertained all afternoon. No idea how much that would be altogether but dh and ds are happy.

Hi Everyone,
Not posted much lately as it's just been the odd penny on COS for me.
However, today I went to Sainsbury's and treated myself to some reduced Easter Eggs, only to find that Shopitize had 50p cashback on the Creme Egg one :j:EasterBun
Add an extra penny through COS and £7.50 off in nectar points at the till, not a bad dayThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Well done Autumnleaves that is great on the easter Egg reduction plus cash back.
I had a good result today on the YS front. 2 containers of strawberries for 50p each instead of £2 each. Corn on the cobs for 49p instead of £1.75, Avacados (2) for 25p instead of £2 & a bag of salad for 20p. Pleased with that lot.
Also found 7p roadkill and gained more nectar points by using vouchers." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

2 bottles of water bought for me by a male admirer at Karaoke on Sunday night £4 :T
Found £1.12 in the sofa when I was giving it a hoover after my son had slept on it the night before. He had already gone home, so I put the money in my money box

Lucky you! I thought the way to a man's heart was through his stomach, but in your case it appears to be the ears
25p roadkill at the train station when I went to pick up skids' tickets for this Friday and a BOGOF on Pepsi £2.19 and special offer on DH's favourite cider, so another 78p saved there too, making a total of £3.23 for yesterday.
Also used a £1 coupon in Sainsburys and saved 40p on stringless beans, 64p on a bag of pears (that are still firm, so are ripening in my fruit bowl), on Thursday.
Total = £5.27. Updating signature...
I do have a quandary as my Council Tax has been exempted from payment for another year due to the flood. Is this a legitimate womble? I did claim the refund I was given for the end of this financial year, but that was a quarter of this new amount, so I'd be interested to hear if you think I can claim it fellow Wombles?0 -
Admitting you wombled a flood just to get a discount probably makes you a hardcore wombler.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
