I wombed a dinner from a friend last night if that counts? ;) I went round for a catch up after work and he said ' do you want chilli'? i'd never turn down free food!

Saved me going to the shop and paying for food and cooking :D:D:D

    Boo to Bournemouth Persephone :(

My wombles yesterday included a £1 coin roadkill, spotted by my eagle-eyed Small, three eggs from hens = 30p, £6.25 price match and promotional discounts on my online shop and £5 lunch bought for me by my lovely friend.

    £12.55 altogether :)

Bob, my running annual total up to the end of March is an amazing £3518.94. And nope, it's not an April Fool's joke!

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Wow Diz that is just amazing. Imagine if you could just multiply that by 4 for the remaining quarters of the year. I know your council tax rebate has a massive part to it but still!!

Muhren well done and thanks for reporting in.

PM have a lovely break. Annoying to drop hints that no one listens to.

Yes of course why not. Either work out what you saved by not shopping or put a ball park cost on his meal.

  • Hello fellow wombles from the Philippines. It's scorching here - 30 C and 58% humidity and it's only 9am. Can't imagine what it would be like at high noon.

Spotted a shiny new 25centavos in Manila International Airport yesterday - not much value to the pound (£0.0034) but it's nice to know the wombling lives on even in far flung places.
