A tub of tiny cherry tomatoes, that I am reliably informed are called 'Hundreds and thousands' and a big handful of runner beans that my friend was [STRIKE]too lazy to prep[/STRIKE] kind enough to give me. £1.50 claimed for my little womble.

However...I have a super-mega-awesome womble to report which I have DH to thank for. We are getting bits together to replace items lost in our flood and chose a big American fridge freezer online, went to take a look and decided to buy it. Deposit paid and collection arranged for the next day, together with remaining payment. On loading the freezer, the shop staff dented a panel on the side (which would be up against a wall in our soon-to-be-new-kitchen) resulting in the shop owner giving us a £700 reduction from the RRP to accept it. :T:eek::T

Happy Dizzy :D Well done Mr D.
  • Great womble on the fridge freezer Dizzy :D

Wombled 15 clubcard points at Tesco, spent 39p from my purse on YS gluten free pasta in anticipation of in-laws at half term, and there has been no new movement on my bank balance since Sunday - only spending purse money is going very well and I still have £1.32 to squander before Friday.

  • Impressive wombling dizzy. Hubby and I do lookout for imperfections on the items we buy, especially imperfections that don't affect the functionality of the items, so we could ask for a discount.

I've downloaded the receipt hog app and I'm slowly building up my coin collection. Need to convince my friends and family to do the same.

I had to do a top up shop yesterday. All of the items I bought (all 35 of them) were ys except the bananas. The total came up to £10.37 (would have been £35) but I used my £5 voucher from Morris... so only spent £5.37 cash. 50 points added to my More card and I picked up a deserted receipt with 35 points on.
