  • Thank you for a warm welcome.

Mr Pillowthief - my other half - had dreams of chasing asda receipts after I excitedly told him about wombling in all unnecessary detail. Thank goodness for his laid back attitude :)

I am impressed with miss empty piggy bargain. Charity shops can be amazing. I am getting better and wombling discovery cheered me up enormously I have to say. I like being busy doing stuff or learning new things. Currently asked to be added to womble facebook group and watch Man with the hat videos on you tube with some fascination.

No wombling today but as I feel better I will cook and might brave world outside. Its Scotland so I better brave while its still dry.

Had a bit of a meltdown earlier with stress just getting on top of me. Hopefully I've re-grouped now.:o

I am a long time reader of the moneysavingexpert - even used the site to help me write my dissertation in 2012 :) but ..... I was totally unaware of wombling!!!!

Where have you been all my life wonderful wombling forumites. I have lost and not wombled hundreds and hundreds of receipts and am having a wee cry now that I think about it.

Now I want to be a star womble. I have just made around 9 GBP by checking our two last online shops. I also feel like I lived under a rock. Oh well I am happy I crawled from underneath it. I am off sick these past few weeks so cant walk much or far. This should get better over next 4-8 weeks. The beauty of wombling is I can combine it with my walking and or running regime. And I can even do some charity fundraising and environmental work for the community in one swift swoop. I am besides myself Im so excited. Exercise, money saving, fundraising and doing good deeds for the planet!

Welcome aboard the goodship womble. You are no 54:T

Welcome into the light Bunny! Always nice to have another convert.:j

I managed to 'win' £3 of Amazon vouchers this afternoon,

And have found the next 3 rooms worth of wallpaper - all reduced down to £7.50 a roll or less. I had never realised quite how er, :oshall we say 'sexual' :oa lot of wallpaper is. I have looked at many many wallpaper websites over the last 24 hrs .... or maybe I am just obsessed:rotfl:....Either way you wouldn't want it all over your walls looking at you every day, you'd have nightmares.

Keep on wombling folks, even in this heat - or if you are in Manchester, waders.....

Today's wombles. 17p roadkill. And a gorgeous tiny (baby child sized) vintage chair left out to the street. Now looking adorbs in my lounge. DD has tried to stand on it a few times already. She's a worry that one. Part baby part goat.
