Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    hi all
Im new to all this wombling but I have recently started wombling other peoples asda receipts but have already reached my limit of 10 per calendar month. Yesterday i found a couple that I have checked today and they have got about £5 on them, i tried to print them off but keep getting a message "Unfortunately, you can't claim this voucher as your household has already made 10 claims this month. Please try again next month."

does this mean i have to wait until 1st Aug before i can print these off?

    thanks

Sorry I dont do Asda. None near me. Can anyone else help advise our new womble?

I have a very small womble to report - which should get me happily back into the habit. I needed a copy of my marriage certificate, but with me being off work at the moment I had no access to photocopying. I managed to womble a copy while I was tutoring today :D:D:D
Then, not a womble, but I found a book of second class stamps while I was decluttering so that I can send my letter free of charge (to me).

But I do think sending a fire steel in the post addressed to a 6 year old is a little bit irresponsible:rotfl:

    What is a fire steel?

Not bad, I had £10 from Pinecone this week, £1.16 from Qmee as well and £1.60 amazon vouchers from Quidco.

Thankfully with the new Neobux ads, I should get to another payout from them soon.

Work has really dried up for both me and OH, so I'm getting very worried now. We're both self employed and this month, we've probably brought in less than £400 between us :(_pale_

Hopefully our new venture will soon be in a position to start bringing in money. It certainly needs to.

I hope things start to pick up for you autumnleaves - being self-employed can be very stressful if work is scarce.

Fair to middling on the wombling front for me this weekend. Mr NDN mended our sit-on mower for us, which saved us about £50 in labour costs. He wouldn't take anything as a thank you, naughty man, but I breathed a massive sigh of relief when it didn't have to go to the garage for repair. I won't claim anything for this though as I doubt we would've got it mended immediately.

I wrote an email to Starbucks last weekend after four bad experiences at branches along our journey to and from Sussex and they sent four vouchers for ANY handcrafted beverage of our choice as way of an apology. As an average drink there is about £3, this is a valuable womble of at least £12 :j

We also went to a different kitchen showroom to get ideas and inspiration for when (and if) the restoration starts. We're given a bottle of Prosecco for getting a quote done on the day, so claiming £5 please :)

    I'll update my total tomzzzzzzzz.....

Bob - a fire steel is one of those metal things you strike to effortlessly make a spark so your budding pyromaniac can set fire to his bundle of tinder.

Just checked my bank account for the first time today and found £30 from the MSE energy saving switch cashback thing. :money:

Taking the kids down to the library to sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge. They only have to read 6 books to complete it, so no challenge for my lot, but I know it really helps some of the kids who don't read a lot to get started.

The 4 minifoxes have managed to womble £20 each from visiting elderly relatives during the Ireland tour, so no doubt there will be a shopping trip at some point - it will save me having to dish out pocket money this week though.

Anyway, enjoy the sunshine while it lasts my fellow Womblers, personally I prefer a cold nose and crunchy grass underfoot, but DH is loving all this heat and I understand some other people feel the same (how many days is it until Christmas anyway?:rotfl:sorry! )

Today in the post came £4 worth of vouchers from clipper tea. I sent them a thank you card for their lovely teas, and the fact that their teabags are unbleached. I am very happy, that will keep me stocked for a little while.
