Received a £1 voucher from Kingsmill in the post, so i took that and my £3 clubcard voucher to Tescos and saved £4 off my £4.60 shopping, this is great as it will help me stay in budget on my food bill (i hope!)

I see women traipsing with brand name bags that are clearly not holding the original articles & so looked on ebay. And nearly fell off the chair.
The assistant either cannot have known or cannot have given a coot.

I shall now eye the bags awaiting use in charity shops with more interest - but it *seems* only the new & unused ones sell. It's an interesting variation on cashback if you can be bothered with the faff!

Holy guacamole! As they may not say in Mexico. Hit the motherload this afternoon. Out for a stroll and found a 'take me' notice alongside a box. We took away a beautiful glass lantern, the sort I've seen in White Stuff for £30+, a set of kick boxing style hand pads which my son has been flat out on already, brilliant wear him out before bed. Probably about £20 in Decathlon. And lastly a cat toy which is like a hamster that squeaks in a wheel. My cat will be happy. Im going to call it £55 all in.

Wow Bob, what a haul - you lucky thing! Living in a town certainly has it's advantages then!

Not a huge amount of wombling for me over the weekend. Some money saved in a sale and an armful of rhubarb (ETA £2 claimed) from lovely NDNs, so I'll work that out and update later.

First day of the summer holidays for us today...._pale_ Oh, I mean :j...

ETA £7 saving on a dress I'd had my eye on that went into the sale. 64p brand match from yesterday at Tesco and £11.65 from promotional offers, YS beef brisket joint and money-off coupons today. Added bonus is that Tesco gave double points Friday - Monday this weekend :)

Also have had ten eggs over the weekend from the girls = £1. Total for the weekend is a respectable £20.29. Not bad at all x
