    I love this thread!

I've had a good year so far. Lovely bit of roadkill on the Exe Valley road, a dead but virtually unscathed pheasant. OH put it in the boot to take home. While I was out he plucked it and turned it into 4 portion pheasant curry for the freezer:T. He knows someone who shoots rabbits and offers him as many as he wants:eek:

While waiting to book our holiday cottage this year I got an email from the company saying if I booked online I could claim a £50 M & S voucher. Along with the £5 off if I spend £30 that's a lot of food.

Other roadkill about £5 in various coins. People often drop coins by the car park ticket machines;)

    Happy Wombling
  • Went in to Caffe Nero today with a completed loyalty card and they let me use it to get a chocolate frappe milkshake! No idea if that's common across all the stores or if they just felt sorry for me looking fed up with the heat, but it's a womble of £3.55!

Wow Bob, what a haul - you lucky thing! Living in a town certainly has it's advantages then!

Not a huge amount of wombling for me over the weekend. Some money saved in a sale and an armful of rhubarb (ETA £2 claimed) from lovely NDNs, so I'll work that out and update later.

First day of the summer holidays for us today...._pale_ Oh, I mean :j...

ETA £7 saving on a dress I'd had my eye on that went into the sale. 64p brand match from yesterday at Tesco and £11.65 from promotional offers, YS beef brisket joint and money-off coupons today. Added bonus is that Tesco gave double points Friday - Monday this weekend :)

Also have had ten eggs over the weekend from the girls = £1. Total for the weekend is a respectable £20.29. Not bad at all x

Good luck with the hols Dizzy!

Went out for food with the girls from football yesterday. We were going to go somewhere nearby so i decided to look on their website to see the menu (so i could choose something healthy), whilst there I saw a £5 off when you spend £15 on food voucher just for signing up. So naturally I did that and wombled £5 off my food.

Do forgive me if I have already mentioned this but the other day I ordered several birthday presents off amazon, which only cost me £4.97 as I had saved up £17.50 in vouchers through things like pinecone, shopprize and opinion outpost.

Back from a week in Northern Ireland, where I wombled a free trip to the Giant's Causeway due to my M-I-L giving us a family membership to the NT (£114) so with the 5 of us, we saved £30 this time and had a great 3 hrs wandering about, then we went to a nearby beach and saved on the parking (£4) and spent the afternoon on the beach with a picnic. So now I have the summer holidays to fill, and I have decided, as we have not been to any museums or galleries in Leics, we are going to play tourist this summer in the morning - with only parking to pay, and I will carry on with the decorating in the afternoons.

But I do think sending a fire steel in the post addressed to a 6 year old is a little bit irresponsible:rotfl:

  • hi all
Im new to all this wombling but I have recently started wombling other peoples asda receipts but have already reached my limit of 10 per calendar month. Yesterday i found a couple that I have checked today and they have got about £5 on them, i tried to print them off but keep getting a message "Unfortunately, you can't claim this voucher as your household has already made 10 claims this month. Please try again next month."

does this mean i have to wait until 1st Aug before i can print these off?

    thanks
