You could also consider selling the hat on ebay DM. I have done that with a pair of converse that I found. Sold them for £10
it's worth keeping an eye on what people dump around clothing and shoe recycling bins for that reason.
Shall I share with you all the fruits of my labour's? A measly penny. It was too wet and all the paper I spotted was soaked. Hey ho...." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

a penny is a penny Bob
update found change lying around the living room 90p Its been thrown there since before Christmas so I claimed it
also found in a car park ... gorgeous duck egg blue coloured pvc shopping bag that folds into a very nice handled pouch. Its covered with pictures of horses. So lovely. I looked inside and it had little ants in it and a bit wet so it must have been ignored by a lot of passers by but not this one
took it home and washed its gorgeous .. might sell it at a later date or might keep it . happy with this find.
must start a running total and try and keep updating it. Away she goes singing UNDERGROUND OVERGROUNDLA LA LA LA LA

Hi autumnleaves, Love this idea. I'll look out for the coins that fall out of my partners and my sons pockets. They can be my cleaning tip as they can't be bothered picking them up mostly, 1p and 5p coins.. Keep on wombling
Hee hee! It's cheeky but it works! Maybe one day he'll notice but until then, in the pot they go:rotfl:

I'm still a trainee womble.
I got 8 bread rolls 39p and 5 cheeses xmas cheeseboard for 1.45 thanks to YS at Marks and sparks.
I had a few issues with my self service checkout (why does a man always start trying to pile stuff up and scan whilst I'm putting my stuff in my bag and putting my card in to pay? This keeps happening to me!) anyway the tills lady came after me as I walked out, she grabbed me by my arm and I thought she thought I was a shoplifter!
She asked whether I paid cash and I said no. As I got out the door I thought there must have been money left at the till which I didn't spot/womble!Jan 20 - NST challenge
