Hi Everyone, Just a quick check-in. Found 3p today and my son gave me 62p that he had laying in his car. He said he never uses 1p, 2p or 5p coins. Yippee I'm going to claim them all from now on. I go round picking pennies up and he's probably the one that's dropping them in the first place. What a thought. Keep on wombling.

Hi f0xh0les, Lucky you, I took down the Christmas decorations today and gave the living room a thorough clean. Thought there is bound to be coins under the cushions on the sofa. Alas, no such luck

Yes! Full refund on unsuitable substitute for an item in my online food delivery. £7 will be added to my total. I'm on a roll :D
  • Did my Mr M Whoopsie shop tonight £26.59 but would have been £230.91
I got loads of cooked meat from the deli - ham, chicken, turkey and tongue; 2 rib eye steaks, 12 gammon steaks, 4 kilos of mince, lots of fruit and veg mangos cherries oranges apples pears 4 melons - will use for juicing), 6 cheeseboards with 5 types of cheese in each one, 2 big blocks of cheese, yogurt, some pies and cooked chicken from the rotisserie, Olives, Pate (can this be frozen?) a pork belly joint, and other bits and pieces.
Very happy with my haul and there was loads more stuff for everyone who wanted it.

I treated myself to vacuum sealer machine before xmas and this has come in very handy as will keep foods fresher and use less space in the freezer.

    Happy Sue tonight x

  • Did some clothes shopping for DS2 and DH in H & M today. Total amount would have been £92.92 but due to the January sales plus 20% off coupon given to me before Christmas, I only paid £26.40 giving me a total savings of £66.52. Can I add that to my wombling total Bob?

Just tried to get 40p back on toilet rolls on Shopitize. Receipt clearly says 9 rolls of Andrex, but it won't accept the barcode :(

OH did a quick shop for such essentials last night and I actually got him to use the clubcard!:T
