Another 8p and a pint glass whilst out litter picking yesterday. Not a bad start to the year!

I found a "foreign" pint glass in our orchard last year - still can't work out how it got there!

Just taken delivery of my online food shopping and have £3.33 to report in savings due to multi-buy discounts, substitution price matching and vouchers. Annoyingly one of the subs isn't suitable, so I might ask for my money back once the order is finalised their end online, so may well have more to report tomorrow ;)

Oh, and my chickens are still laying well as the weather is mild - 15 eggs since the New Year. Tesco Everyday Value eggs are £1.25/15, so adding that to my total too, although mine are organic and free-range and would be more expensive to buy. Brings my wombling total to £4.48 for the day, which pleases me greatly :T
  • Quick report from me. I used a 3p off per liter of petrol for £20 groceries. I spent £22.39 on groceries with £5.86 price matching savings and 22 nectar points. I filled up my car with petrol and with the voucher above, I saved £2.66 and earned 36 nectar points. So that's a total savings of £8.52 and 58 nectar points.

First womble of the year yesterday, I had a free large coffee at Maccy D's. I went in with the intention to see how much it was so I could start a tally, but forgot!

I found a penny in a bag my sister gave me a few weeks ago! :T

Wombled I pack of Garlic Sausage my sister was going to throw out. It was M&S! I don't believe what some people put in the bin. Don't worry....I retrieved it from her fridge, not the bin!

One Leonidas chocolate wombled at work, courtesy of the regular lunch caterer; I will claim 20 cents. One wombled receipt with 7 unclaimed points handed in at the till.
