Went on another date to Nando's on Friday evening and he paid again for my meal £10.85 and a bottle of water £2.30

Then we went to a pub where he bought me a glass of white wine £4 ( I am normally tee total, but agreed to 1 glass of wine)

He also gave me £20 so my 23 year old daughter and 15 year old son could have a takeaway on him from Nando's on Saturday :)

I had such a lovely date with him, I feel very lucky to have found someone with sincere intentions right from the 1st date :j

    #33 current total = £1,323.05

How lovely Sugarbaby125. Your friend sounds like one of the good ones.

Hi everyone. Hope the wombling is going magnificently.

This week I have used a pre stamped envelope I was given that has been in the drawer for ages. I had previously hand delivered a letter but retained the stamped envelope and finally used it on some snail mail so that's 64p wombled.

I used £1.37 in Asda price match. The cashier just couldn't get it to scan and ended up doing an over ride so I could have the money taken off my bill. I also managed to buy two small packets of mini oatcakes for 10p reduced from 30p so a 40p womble there. It was raining when I visited my Asda and the car park was clean as a whistle. I picked up a few just dropped receipts as I left but both were only for a couple of items. Never mind!

I was given a pile of crockery and a pair of curtains by my nephew so I'm making that a £10 womble as that is what I would have paid for them second hand.

Not a world shattering amount but every little helps.

    Nice work ChirpyCheap

Today's wombles were £4 in roadkill. Yes that's 4 shiny one pound coins at a bus stop this morning about 9 30. Mind you there did seem to be a lot of drunk people still around so probably one of them but I am constantly surprised at what I see that gets left behind.

We had brunch at a friends house so that was the 3 of us fed for the day and they sent us home with lots of lovely clothing for DD that their children had grown out of. A lot of it is premium brands that I know of but wouldn't pay for. Total of about £50 plus I'd guestimate. So I'm obviously wacking that on the score.

Then when we got in my friend had dropped off a kids ball Pitt and a sit on trike for DD. Again probably £50 brand new...

    Reporting in with recent wombles:

Had an online food order delivered yesterday with savings of £4.39, excluding the 40p carrier bag charge which annoyed me as my shopping wasn't even bagged up! Driver could see I was annoyed so whipped out some from his spare stash so I could carry it all into the house in a few trips rather than a hundred!

Had 9 eggs from the girls, but have to delete one that Small somehow managed to smash in his trouser pocket , so 80p claimed.

DH tops all that with £30 of free diesel that his work paid for as we had dropped off and collected a few items while he was on holiday a couple of weeks ago. Very pleased with that!

    That's all folks!

2 Easter eggs at Reception: €0,10.

A few colleagues ordered a pizza lunch (not me, I made my sandwiches :A), and I think there will be left-overs for tonight. I'm working until 21.00 at least, and tomorrow as well. It's part of the job, and it's unpaid overtime. I'll make sure I get the time back, though, by not-worrying if I'm a few minutes late in the morning, or if I have to leave a bit early.
