We had some work event (again), and I wombled two pieces of cake (with fresh fruit and whipped cream). There was so much left that I took a double piece of chocolate cake home for dessert with dh and dds, and a bowl of fruit salad. Total: €5.
(the cakes were 2ft x 1ft, seriously; how do they think we can finish that? Lots of people had a piece for breakfast today )

£4.08 to report following my online food shop delivery and just remembered (i.e. found in a bag with some Easter eggs) a beautiful scarlet fringed poncho-type wrap that my elderly "aunt" gave me via my mum on the Easter weekend. It is brand new from Wallis and I'm claiming £5 for it. Very pleased and wearing it now to collect Small from drama club

DH came home from a weekend with his parents with masses of chocolate for me and the kids as a gift ! :beer:
Couldn't understand why it tasted horrid, until I looked at the bb date. :mad: Oh dear. I never knew chocolate could go off. Now I know better.

My friend is moving house and as I was leaving after having dinner round theirs, they gave me 11 kids activity books to do 'as i wish' with! As i don't have kids they weren't going to be used so out of curiosity I googled them and found out they're really popular and quite expensive new!

So what did i do?

Shoved them on some Facebook sales groups and within 15 minutes they had sold for £20!!

i'd class that as a wombling success "D
