Patients and carers often have little choice in the matter.
Yes I understand that and it is so sad that the hospitals allow scammers to profit from patients and carers.
Clearly another source of income to prop up the failing NHS0 -
Parking Eyes antics at hospitals is well know, and their antics at a Hospital in Burton upon Trent in Derbyshire have been reported on by the plain language commision

Although from what i can gather MPs Hospital chiefs, Health Secretary etc have all got their head in the sand, la la la were not listening you will have to talk to the parking eye contractors
HEY, MP's only come out of the sand when they want your vote, they must never underestimate a problem, as the last few years have shown0 -
I can't understand the stupidity of supermarkets signing such parking contracts, but human nature being what it is, if you're getting something for free even the professionals can be tempted to go for it.
Our local Morrison's must have lost hundreds of customers through its association with PE. Why risk a problem with a 2 hour stay at Morrison's when you can get 3 hours parking with less risk at the nearby Sainsbury's?REVENGE IS A DISH BETTER SERVED COLD0 -

Unfortunately, as with all such large corporations, such messages tend to get filtered down to Estates departments, who have to justify their rubbish decisions by responding with PE-sponsored platitudes such as 'our customers tell us they can't always find a space', and 'other supermarkets have similar parking rules'.
Meanwhile, Morrison's announced over 700 head office redundancies a few months ago. But nobody thought to join up the dots.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -

You can try writing "Private and Confidential" on the envelope to the CEO, but TWITTER/FB can be quite useful for a direct line to the top.Illegitimi non carborundum:)0

Crisis, Reaction, solution.
The Government "step in" to make their buddies parking charges 100% Gold standard legit in response to self created crisis and their chums who invested heavily in Capita walk away rolling joints out of £50 notes.
It was and is always going to happen, the public are gullible, even sheep wont eat bull**it off the floor, but the British public will, by the bucket load.
The day Capita bailed in was always going to end up in the legalisation of this robbery.
The public have the power to stop it dead by avoiding where they operate, but like stupid lemmings they go back for more and more again and again.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

And people can't avoid train station car parks if arriving by car to catch a train, and can't avoid beach car parks if wanting to visit the beaches in Cornwall for example, having no option but to bring all their family and beach clobber by car.
It is an utter scam but people can't always avoid the scum (and I don't just mean CPFC with that word).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
