The Times is it? I wonder if any of the Law Lords that presided over the Beavis case might read this article and wonder if perchance they had made a mistake.

Please report any sighting of porcine aviation to the CAA.

I suspect they already know, especially as the Beavis case has allowed the scammers to run riot ?

But it would take a BIG MAN with a soul to reverse it. And an even bigger man to say sorry

A google search brings this up:
    http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/news/uk/article4649891.ece
although its behind a paywall, is that the article?
one bit of interest is that it mentions Mr Duffs Proserve ( picture) and we all know what happened there.

Yes, that's the article. the scam is now becoming high profile and the government must show they are transparent and credible to stop this scamming assault on the voters.

It is going to be a bad year for parking companies

It is not going to be happy times for those supermarkets etc who employ parking eye as such car parks are to be avoided

In my opinion there's far too much focus on the parking company's and not enough on those that enable the ppcs to operate on their land. Only when the supermarkets, management company's and so on who enable this whole shoddy business can have the bad publicity aimed at them will anything change. Until then it will be the usual shoulder shrug and nothing to do with us mate get out, which the media Wil just lap up.

You are so right, and this is happening with articles in the Daily Mail.
Maybe though, a stronger approach to the CEO's telling them that you are reporting this scam to the media, they will not LIKE too much of that.
The start though is complaining to the CEO's where you shop, if they get a flood of complaints, from angry customers, their problem is then, they will never know how many sales are lost.

The sales are starting, far too much stock left on the shelves from xmas, they need to shift it, Jan and Feb, the worst time of the year for them, and the finger needs to be pointed at the parking cowboys. Lidl and Aldi can end up as the most expensive supermarket in the UK WHEN YOU ADD the scammers ticket on top.
Aldi use Parking Eye, a real loser right from the start. Lidl, use mainly Athena but firmly running in second place.

ATTACK THESE PARKING VERMIN FROM ALL SIDES

The press and media stories often read as....
Big bad parking company fines driver/pensioner/disabled/ or person of any any other description £some ridiculous sum , we (name of publication ) contacted scumbag parking who issued a statement stating that signs are clearly placed at the entrance stating the restrictions on parking, as well as at several points on site. The fact that it was dark, and the signs are unlit and behind a few bushes is irrelevant as it is the drivers responsibility to have suitable lighting such as a torch, and items to clear undergrowth in car parks, such as a machete, a Spokesperson for couldntcareless supermarkets stated that they contract out their parking, and its nothing to do with them

As far as the couldntcareless supermarkets, the PPC's offer a contract which they say is "taylor made" for their requirements ?

WAKE UP SUPERMARKETS, your business and profits are about to go elsewhere, the public are waking up to this contempt

Supermarkets are in a bad way.
This article in the Telegraph dated 28th Dec 2015
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/retailandconsumer/12033818/Supermarkets-sales-crisis-could-get-worse-warns-Sainsburys-boss-Mike-Coupe.html

Yes Lidl and Aldi created problems for them. Both Lidl and Aldi should have a WEALTH warning before you enter their car park because of the very aggressive parking companies they use such as parking eye.
For many who like to spend time shopping in these stores, they could get back to their car and find an £85-£100 ticket making Lidl and Aldi the most expensive supermarkets in the UK.

Whilst Lidl and Aldi are around, Sainsbury's and the like will continue to have falling sales and profits.

Just imagine if just one brave supermarket decided to kick out the parking cowboys ? giving a FREE no strings attached car park, word would spread quickly and more people would shop.
This would leave Lidl and Aldi customers the choice to run the gauntlet, a parking ticket or not, who knows.

It is said that these parking companies protect the car park against abusers. This is a sales "pup" from the PPC's, yes there will always be abusers but hey, if I was the CEO and my sales increased by 10% - 15% - 20% because I was giving a great customer experience who cares about the odd abuser
Pound for pound, the parking companies are making more money from the supermarkets customers than the supermarkets make from them, something seriously wrong somewhere ????

The fact is that Sainsbury's and the like cannot keep reducing prices to eat into their profits, they cannot afford to keep advertising on TV, nowadays it means nothing when the next advert is for Aldi or Lidl. But it would mean something if they said, "our car park is free".

Just one BRAVE supermarket is all it takes
