CD Rom Drive Problems

See here and/or here for info on enabling DMA in WinME for CDROM drives.
DMA has to be supported by your motherboard and cdrom drive and is automatically enabled for the harddrive provided your motherboard supports DMA but it is not automatically enabled by default for CDROM drives.
After enabling DMA for your CDROM drive then reset your computer for changes to take effect. It may ask for WinME disc but not sure as can't remember much about the WinME days!0 -

I'd try to download some IDE drivers for your chipset. You should not have any SCSI devices if you have no SCSI hardware. I know some progs like Alcohol 120% create a virtual device (a scsi one i think)

It seems the only problem I have is with blank discs, all the others work fine.....maybe it's the discs? But they are TDK and worked before0 -
