Hi all, I really don’t know why I’m struggling to find the time to check in at the moment, I don’t think I’m doing much more than usual! My parents have been staying for a few days which was nice, DH and I went out for probably the best Sunday lunch we have ever had out on Sunday, then to the cinema in the evening as part of his belated birthday celebrations as he worked on his birthday. He’s out on a work night out at the moment and Wiggle is in bed so I’m enjoying some quiet time on the sofa in front of the TV and catching up with you guys!

    HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY Pinksteps!

nitnurse it sounds like you had a lovely holiday, Malta is definitely on my ‘go to’ list!

murie oh poor you, I do hope the pain subsides quickly. It’s been a few days since I’ve been on so hopefully it has by now!

Peppa I’m glad to hear your second chemo went well, I hope you are continuing to feel ok. I don’t think you’re sad about being excited about your new front door – when we finally move into our house I’m very excited about painting our front door sage green – I’ve always wanted a sage green door! Thanks for your interest in my blog, I will send you a link although it’s a bit bare at the moment!

mrsinvisible oooh I bet you’re so excited about China!

Gettingtherequickly blimey it sounds like you’ve been rushed off your feet, I hope you’ve managed to relax since then.

freespirit oh I am so pleased to hear you’ve got some help and you are feeling better. How frustrating that your GP didn’t do a test to save you from all of this, but hopefully going forward it can be sorted out. How lovely that you’ve nearly finished Thumper’s presents, now the challenge is to see if you can wait until Christmas to give them to him! :p

Thanks again for the birthday messages and messages about my mum, not bad considering she's 83.

On a separate note, a message for Chrissy Free and OMO, I'm here, I'm fine but I've deleted FB for a few days. Last night the messages and calls started again. Concentrating on George and security at the moment. xx

Update, DS is safe again now. X

Afternoon everyone, had bloods taken again this morning and urine test done, and have to see gp again so another 3/4 week wait :(

PEPPAPIG why do i keep calling it 911 :D of course its 111, im sure if our drs surgery ran like it, it would be so much better and quicker. I am glad you didnt feel too bad after this round, keep it up :D Its not sad to be excited about a new front door at all. I do usually buy the pre payment certificates because it saves me a fortune but because i had a backlog of tabs in my wardrobe and stopped taking one lot of meds i thought i would just buy each item not banking on needing so many painkillers and then all these different meds from 111, but DS has just bought me one so im ok for the next 3 months :)

MURIE oh glad you went out and had a lovely time anyway, sod the calories just the once :D Isnt it funny how tastes change as we get older, when you are young you dont see the full picture just what is the latest in trends, we have all done it. I hope your DH has managed to put your pond back together :D

PRINCESSKITTY no i darent they are all wrapped up and ready and i still have his birthday to buy for as well!

PINKSTEPS i hope everything is ok, have sent a message but its not important just when you get back on, hope you are all ok, thinking of you x

free I popped in last night and watered/checked and things seem to be growing ok. Including some potatoes which shouldn't be growing where they are :rotfl: so it needs a bit of tlc this weekend.

peppa I'm glad chemo went ok.

pinksteps Glad DS is now safe

Passed my first aid course today  I just hope I never need to use it now!!

Having a relaxing evening, although we have no heating as it's packed in. Luckily it's getting fixed all being well this week. We have got a log burner which is also below our bedroom so if we need a bit of heat in the meantime we have got that.

Right, time to sit with my feet up and have some tea :D
