I wish mine would eat the poison! Got up this morning and the place reeks of peppermint, hopefully that will do something. Will have to go through all the bedlinen, towels etc at the weekend as I saw one in there last night, the fact that the tumble drier was working away beside it did not bother it one iota:mad: Talk about making yourself at home:eek:

If anyone has an old hot diamonds account check your emails- I had an email earlier with a £10 'gift' applied to my account (I had £1.80 in points in my account from years ago!). I have used it to buy a swaroski pearl charm bracelet for mom from the outlet for the princely sum of £3.93 (original price £34.95). Vastly overpriced originally but a nice little stocking filler.
    lovin' this site!

  • GETTINGTHEREQUICKLY omg i dont know how you are coping with seeing them in your house and bedroom, i would literally die on the spot, i cant even cope with hearing it in the loft, if it was coming down i dont know what i would do, i hope you find something that works soon!

MURIE ooh well done what a fab gift for your mum, bargain!!!

  • Hi gang!

Popping back in (life is manic!) to say hello and to ask you all to kick me up the butt as I am very behind Christmas wise!!

I'm planning to do the Sainsburys trade up on gifts with our nectar points and get a few crossed off before it finishes. I also need to start wrapping as so far only a few of little My's have been done.

I hope everyone is well x

    Evening!

Well it has been manic here. Next door but one put some creepy old gazebo thing up, which ended up three doors down in the mad winds. Managed to finally sort out a few things, which includes having an hour with my niece on saturday, so I may get an idea of what to buy her (she's 8 years old, but is 4 feet 10 tall - my dad is 6 feet 9 so we know where she gets it from!) but she is at the age where she isn't into much, not big on music, and finds most toys too childish. She has a tablet, and a DS (my old one!) and she's super happy with them, so I am stuck, hopefully saturday will bring us happiness!

Still haven't managed to buck up the courage to see the surgeon. Or to buy any more xmas presents - I want a couple of computer games, but I'm waiting for black friday, as I know they are in stock everywhere so I can pick them up whenever, but it feels like I am doing nothing! I'm like 30% done on pressies, but its 34 days to go.

Update - I've worn my christmas jumper to work, put my ringtone to Jingle Bells (work phone!), and festived the office up as much as I can get away with. co-worker has calmed the heck down, and I think she's safe for another year...!

Hope everyone is having an awesome thursday/friday.

    Peppa - Yay! Congratulations x

Gettingtherequickly at least peppermint is christmassy.... We've been long suffering house sharers here. Even though we have 2 cats! Luckily mostly confined to the loft, and the extension (it's sort of being treated like a shed so no surprises with that one). The worst thing is we live in a wooden bungalow, it's pretty much all stud walls, because they are in the loft they sometimes fall down between the walls where the electric runs and you can just hear them scratching in there, drives the cats mental!

Nothing really very christmassy going on here :( I'm just prepping for Christmas fayres really. My sleeping pattern has gone to pot though :/ really need to try sort that out! :(

I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

Had to tell DD where she was going for her surprise she is relentless when she wants something [don't know where she gets that from;)]
