I'd say I'm about 70% ready for Christmas. Need to get wrapping paper and start getting organised. Oh yeah, I also need a new Christmas tree. Looking out for a good deal.

Evening everyone,
DD went into school today and was fine. phew! DS back at school tomorrow. Nothing christmassy to report. Went to drs for health check. Was dreading it as i hate being weighed. Anyway blood pressure was fine, bloods were taken no problem, then I was weighed...... only gone and lost 15 lb since I was last weighed in May. Whoop whoop! given me a kick up the bum to stick to my diet and get another stone off for christmas!

free- oooh If only I lived closer. My DD loved helping me and cannot wait for december to use it for an advent. She is so excited for her elf.
murie-DD is feeling alot better thank you x I agree with you on the weather. It was beautiful today and yesterday afternoon. Alot of people have said they would be up for a card swap but I do not think it has been finalised.Not to send too daft but How would it work?
plumduff55- the stocking is lovely, what a lovely idea.
Mrs Moneypenny- what a lovely idea! I love the stockings and the frame x
Clumsy42- Not long now until the tree goes up. Im debating whether it will go up on the 26th november or the 3rd december. I usually put the tree up on the 1st Dec unless the 1st is during the week. If the 1st is during the week it goes up the saturday before. So by my rules it should go up on 26th Nov but that is 3 weeks on saturday!!:eek:

Evening everyone, yayyy the halloween decs are down my LR is back to normal well for a few weeks then it will be the christmas decs going up!! Have any of you lovelies bought the Ultimate Christmas magazine yet? If so where did you get it?

MURIE yes i agree that is why i stopped making cakes for people it became too much, its just such a shame, you really do have the eye for it. I am totally the same the christmas decs have to be down before NY because i am going stir crazy by then with all the clutter haha

Thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes everyone. Have had a nice day (even if I did have chemo this afternoon lol) and just chilling this evening. Going out for lunch tomorrow with DH, mum, sis and DD1 so looking forward to that.

I wrote a long post replying to comments then accidentally closed the page and lost it all :mad: please excuse me not trying to replicate it tonight. Will try tomorrow.

Loving all the stocking challenges now looking forward to reindeer month I love that we're all beavering away individually at home yet we're actually all connected working on our own bits of something bigger. Great idea 0462.

Back from Spain where it was hot so feeling the cold but liking it! Autumn has happened whist i was away,the trees are looking lovely here.

I have read back but just cant retain it all to be able to reply.The stocking crafts are so professional looking and what a good idea to make one with baby clothes. I must get my finger out to catch up with the crafts and get my thinking cap on for the reindeer. It is spooky how some of you make almost the same thing.

Picked up some jelly baby Santa babies today for Mr V's stocking.Read about a G n T candle from Next I might have a look at when I am out n about.

Been to a hospital appointment today,when making a new one realised its only 6 weeks to go.Woohoo. Our calendar is filling up with trips out,meals out,concerts etc.It feels so good to have more or less finished buying gifts so we can just enjoy the season without the panic.

Welcome home VULPIX, glad you had a good time. No definite ideas for the reindeer challenge although something is forming in the back of my mind. Going to keep it secret though to see if MURIE and I really have a challenge psychic connection or have flunked it for the last two months lol.

First frost of the year here this morning, Autumn has arrived!

Will be wearing my Christmas Pandora from today until Boxing Day. Feeling very festive :T

Good morning, Dom, hope the lump is diagnosed and treated soon, and is of no significance. You certainly have a history of 'having a back'! l had a lovely day with DGN yesterday, her chipped tooth makes her look even more mischevious, (if that's possible). DGS1 is now officially 14. lt was lovely how simply delighted he was with his gifts, and he unselfconsciously gave hugs and kisses and thank yous.
Now l have to get my thinking cap on, reindeer, hmmm, mrsl in ruminative thought. No, nothing jumps at me, so l best get up and get on with the day.
