    Ah bless, Happy Birthday Wiggle!

0462 thank you for organising everything, I'd better get a move on and think of something to do now. Hoping to relearn how to post pics from FREE's link. I used to be able to do it but it's been so long I've forgotten how. So glad your DS and DD are feeling better, it's a high price to say for a bit of food. I went out to get some bits this morning with DGD and to pick up a parcel that they tried to deliver yesterday - completely forgot about it once I got in the first shop so a bit cross with myself.

Thanks MURIE and MRSINVISIBLE, feeling good today, the 80% chemo def seems to be good, just hope it's doing the job. Explained a bit more to DGD (7) about having my special medicine (DD is keen for her not to hear the C word or anything associated with it in case people or other children start telling her horror stories). I've said that hopefully I will be finished when she comes up at half term so she's really hoping I am bless her.

VULPIX and MRSINVISIBLE I'm exhausted just reading what you two are up to! And just a teeny bit jealous too lol. I have got some washing out on the line though so feeling quite virtuous - if I ignore the load that I haven't got round to taking out of the washing machine yet!

CHRISSEY I had a quick look at Halfcost but need to go back - it sounds like a good place for bargains.

Ha ha MURIE, sounds like the sort of thing that happens to me. Maybe you could throw a big cloth over it and pretend it's a new bedside table :D

Have felt fine after treatment yesterday and was so lovely to have DGD here. She had a lovely play in the bath last night - mainly involving pouring cold water over herself - then story time and bed. Unfortunately she was awake at 6 thus mornings ng but luckily I'd been awake on and off from about three o'clock so getting up was ok. We popped out to get a few bits at a local town this morning and she's painter her Shopkins shop in rainbow stripes.mits not quite my style but I was very proud of her for sticking to her guns and doing it how she wanted it. I've just touched up a couple of bits but don't want to detract from what she's done. When she comes up at half term we'll finish it off. I suggested a roof garden which she thought was a good idea but now she wants stairs inside so people can get there. I suggested outside stairs but she said that would mean people would go up there without visiting the shop and that's not what she wants, they have to look in the shop first! :rotfl:

I said we should call him teddy as he really did look like a stuff toy when we first got him but they wanted something more unusual so we called him chewbacca chewy for short which is very appropriate that the moment . He's a shih tzu cross

Princesskitty happy 2nd Birthday :bdaycake: to wiggle hope you all have a great day

04624181 love the theme for this month will have to get my thinking cap on or cheat and google some ideas. Glad the kids are feeling better

MrsI glad ds op went well

Freespirit I didn't realise so many other health issues can be related to fibro my new gp has been really helpful and while its mostly about managing the symptoms its a relief to finally have some answers.

popped to ikea for the 1st time in ages and won a mirror worth £30 on the swipe & win :D which was perfect as that what I had gone in to look at ok so probably not the one I would have chosen but it will do just fine.

peppapig glad the chemo is going well Its hard knowing how much to tell kids
this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk

Apparantly they were £30 originally at christmas then went down to £15 in sale, reduced to £7.50 a few months ago and are now £5. Well worth it, sister and step sister will love them xx

Edited to say I'm amazed that it works, there should be 3 photos of snowmen jumpers xx

Plumduff- I am in awe of those jumpers! They are gorgeous you are very talented.

Its the packaging that makes the oven so huge but I don't want to take it all off cus I don't want to risk any damage to the stone interior. Its just going to have live next to the bed for the next 5 months and hope I don't stub my toes on it in the night when I get up for the bathroom lol.

    Hi all
After swearing I wouldn't buy anything else for OH I bought him some jeans in Bon Marche sale yesterday (I didn't even know they did menswear!) but I cracked and gave them to him last night- I thought he could take them on hols on Monday.
However, today I've bought him a family size George Forman grill- which seems to be retailing between £25-£35, for £14 in Lidl!! He will love that- he likes practical gifts- he asked me for a Halfords voucher for our anniversary so he could buy a car vacuum- and our current George Foreman grill is very heavily used so it will definitely be put to good use. I'm pretty chuffed with my bargain- I had only gone in to buy some sea bass fillets for my tea :rotfl:
