I could hardly get going today,I was as stiff as a board!

Did manage an order from halfcost,Thanks for that Chrissy, you should be on commission.Got a book for Mr V as a stocking filler at 29p!!!!!!!!!

I would like the crafting to start as soon as.I need inspiration.

I recently made some tea light holders from small glass jars and used stamps, and I bought a frame today from the charity shop which I have already painted and put a printed off vintage Father Christmas pic in. They may be for the craft stall me n my Mum may have at our Christmas Fair. Pinterest is my friend I have made loadsa stuff by copying from there.

Pinksteps that coat was the bargain of the century.Glad DS is feeling brighter.

Tomorrow I will clean the kitchen again (cant wait for DD's house rabbit to go home on Saturday)Then the brick laying begins...having a ton of sand delivered in the morning.I haven't taken any pics, must do it before it begins to take shape.I hope to get most of it done this summer so it can mature a bit.My friend and I are toying with the idea of trying to get an open gardens fund raiser going for next year in the village.

    Vx

Good morning everyone, I've had a sleepless night dog sitting for my sons 2 Lhasa Apsos. Cooper (eldest dog) was very restless and barked quite a bit. I was reminded of sleepless nights when the children were babies. My son phoned this morning and said Cooper is always restless with any change and said if he's unsettled tonight to let him sleep on his bed.

04624181 - I couldn't find a photo of the snowman, if I remember correctly I finished it at 10pm on Christmas Eve as it was a bit of an afterthought. I do have photos of the snowman jumpers I knitted and will post them later.

Freespirit66 - Thanks for the link, I'm going to try and upload photos later. I'm on my iPad just now so hope it works on that.

Have a nice day everyone xx

good morning, looks like a good drying day, so l will get the washing done first!
DS2s op went without problems, and he was discharged same day, so he stayed overnight with me. Him and DGS played board games all evening, l know its wrong, but board games bore me rigid.
l got the 2 apple trees cut up and binned, and a friend of DGS dad took the thick trunks and branches for his stove.
Pepps, hope you feel ok after the chemo yesterday.
would love to be part of the craft of the month brigade, but don't expect me to post piccies, l just cant do it.
l got some lovely baby bits for GN who's birthday is end of this month... a year old already, and from halfcost a bit earlier this year l got PJs and a dressing gown for her Christmas present, will get a couple of books too, and knit a Christmas jacket or something to finish it off.
Today has no plan, so it will probably be wasted on housework, such a thankless pointless task, but l feel guilty if l don't do it!!

Vulpix- take it a bit easier in the garden , Rome wasn't built in a day ....x Those tealight holders sound lovely- Im off to pinterest in a min lol.

Pinksteps- glad the scan went well, I think they use words like significantly to justify the cost of carrying out the procedures if they find nothing. Its one weight off your mind though which is good x.

Peppa- as Mrs I says hope you feeling as bright and breezy as you can be this morning x

Plumduff- sorry to hear you had a bad night, he probably needs that extra bit of reassurance as your son has said. Hopefully tonight he will be more settled and will let you sleep.

Mrs I- good about the op going well. I thought I was the only one that hated board games!! I don't enjoy them at all and the thought of sitting still through an hour of anything makes me break out into a cold sweat almost! Everyone else in the family loves them and calls me antisocial.

I cleared out SEVEN black bags from our bedroom yesterday- SEVEN! I was ashamed of all the carp I have accumulated, but I feel better now as I have some space to stash my growing pile of Christmas presents.

    Hi all you Christmas crafters!

After asking you all when you would like to start the Christmas Craft Challenge many have replied this month, as we are all keen to start, so here we go…..

This month’s theme for your Christmas Craft Challenge is – Jingle Bell

This is an easy one to start off with. The craft can be anything that has a bell in, has a Jingle bell on, has the word Jingle bell in it etc. Be creative!

On the 31st August we will all share our craft creations by posting pictures of our own personal interpretation of the challenge. We can then prepare for the new challenge which will be set on 1st September.

This is purely for fun, no pressure, it does not have to be a work of art. It is a chance for us all to participate in a Christmas Craft Group together online.

I myself am unsure how to share photos on here so we will need a photo sharing expert to share details please.

    Happy Christmas Crafting everyone :xmassmile:rudolf::snow_grin:xmassign:

Woohooo Its official, we are christmas crafting everyone!

If anybody has any suggestions or ideas please PM me. Excited!!:j:j

Kids are much better, we were up playing cards, blackjack, until 10pm last night which was very funny.
Need to pick up SO many parcels today. Got an Armani Tshirt for DS, undecided whether it will be for christmas or now. Ordered some more design a friend clothes and some really reduced clothes for DD from argos. Also ordered 50 crayola felt tips and a rainbow tub of paints from tesco for DD craft gift. Ordered DD school uniform from asda, got to pick up her cardigan and jumper from school at the end of this month but apart from that she will only need shoes! Need to nip to boots and get some more Soap and Glory body butter with my birthday voucher, need to egt a bit of food shopping too. Cannot do anything though until the new HUB has been delivered. No idea what time it is coming.
Moneymission2015-Halfcost is great, I love it. I do lose alot of time just sitting looking at all the bits.
Free-they are much better now thank you, I do wish I could have been ill for them instead x
Pinksteps-wow that is an amazing deal on the coat!
Vulpix-Your tealight holders sound lovely, do you have a pic to share? Fundraiser sounds amazing.
plumduff55- Sorry to hear you had a disturbed night, hopefully tonight will be better for both of you.Cant wait to see your snowman jumpers.
Mrs invisible- great mins think alike, my washing is out on line as I type.Glad to hear sons op went well.LOL housework is a thankless task. People only seem to notice when you dont do it x
murie- I am doing total clear out at the moment so know how good it feel when you clear all the rubbish away and know where everything is.

Free- it definitely does feel good to have moved enough stuff to see some space!!
Unfortunately the pizza oven has been delivered and it is HUGE and so heavy! DH took it upstairs and we have struggled to get it out of box to see if its ok and now it wont go back in square! I am mad with myself. Its too big to hide so I have had to wrap it and it is sitting at my side of the bed. I have no idea how long it will stay wrapped with the kitten though!
